Yes it was really to explain the IR5 visa process to give an understanding about immigration, not so much to explain about Joan and her son. It’s that her situation and so many others are covered under IR5.

Tatania, the same is true for a parent filing for a married child. If said child gets divorced, their marital status (divorced papers) can be updated with USCIS and the waiting time will be reduced.

Thank you so much for the explanation of the visas. A friend of mine wants to come visit and wants to use my name as the person they coming to visit in the US. He make it sound so simple as just putting your name down, if I have to show proof and have to be responsible for all this person actions. I am not putting my name to anything. Thanks again
@thebonnicks Жыл бұрын
If he plans to immigrate, he will need a sponsor. If he’s coming on a visitors visa, he will have to show strong ties to his country. There’s no sponsor for nonimmigrant visa.

KaTonya, very informative & great explanation of the immigration filing process, so many Caribbean ppl have gone through this petition process how are they still questioning the process of why the brother was unable to migrate & If I remember correctly I believe you guy’s touched on this briefly in a previous video why Kemar’s brother was able to come. U might have a 2nd calling job wise. 😂. Parents come here ALL the time & leave their children behind while they get their priorities in order & file for their children later.😢

I think it's no one's business as to why she left her son. However, when I was filing for my Jamaican husband, his 2 children were automatically given the right to be given a green card also❤

Yes when my husband filed for our daughter over 21 she were able to take her 5 years old baby girl with her there must be changed with the immigration's law
@thebonnicks Жыл бұрын
Yes when you file for a spouse, as long as you can meet the sponsor requirements and list the children on the application, minor children can immigrate with the parent at the same time or later. But I believe you have to state the children will be immigrating at the same time so they can be included at the interview.
@thebonnicks Жыл бұрын
There’s no change, parent filing for child is not the same as child filing for parent.
