Love the new truck she is beautiful. The light is trailer ABS it should some on for a couple seconds when you step on the brakes and go right off. It's a DOT violation if that light is on. The bumping up the idle thing is important because with burner trucks idling in very bad they build soot and plug the filter faster. Which means more regens. Unless it's really hot or really cold it's best just to shut it off and save a whole lot of problems down the road. Trust me I have lots of experience with burner trucks good luck with her I know you will get all the bugs worked out of her

Don’t take it wrong. The KW is a beautiful rig. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Super Dog tho. I remember when a neighbor friend bought his first tractor in 76. It was a 72 R-600 Mack that had been a Chemical-Leman tractor. He would bring it home on weekends and haul chemicals around the Northeast. I would always help him out with the maintenance he had to get done on weekends. Then in the summer of 83 he was in Connecticut and the engine decided it was time to go. He sold the Mack to someone that needed to use it for parts. I have to say that at 18 years old I was in mourning for the old Mack. He ended up with a nearly new Binder next, that was a big step up in comfort to make longer runs. But I still have fond memories of that R Model. The best of luck with the new KW. Be safe.

So nice to finally see the truck out in the wild serving its intended purpose. Had some ideas for the truck, Not sure how you feel about front mud flaps on the bumper, I think it would look good. If your allowed to drive with the tow hooks in the front bumper, two polished hooks would look nice against the red mount and polished bumper. Laminate flooring that looks like red stained cherry wood. Hidden chicken lights under the cab at the top and bottom of your steps. For the trailer I think she needs a little piece of stainless with a few ambers in it for in front of your trailer axles, and then longer front flaps on the axles. I would expect the new truck to drive more like a Caddy vrs the old girl. You can tell right away there's a lot more sound deadening as you don't have to talk as loud in this truck.

We have an 07 T800 tandem dump my truck is a 91 T450 tandem. My truck steers on a dime. Turns I can make with my truck the T800 doesn't. I've gotten used to the T800 making turns in 2-3 shots where my truck is one turn. My truck is 16 inches shorter in the wheelbase. Kenworths don't steer well period. The Sterling LT9500 I drove has a 240 wheelbase it turns tighter than the T800 with 234 wheel base. Is the fifth wheel on your new truck low profile. It looks like there is a possibility the frame tails on your truck could get hung up in the frame rails of your trailer when you are breaking over angle on a decent.

Kenworth steering boxes are set however from the manufacturer of them, we have a 21, 22, and 25 t800, my 21 turns like Titanic, the 22 turns like a 6 wheeler, the 25 slightly worse then the 22, suspension shop said when they do the 3 axle alignment on the 21 they'll adjust the boxes (we run dual boxes) And the high idle for Regen, its loading up motor to get the exhaust hot(1000*+ most regens happen at 1400*) its annoying, especially with the automatic transmission Trucks looking good, saw it at gear jammer, only to realize you were just behind me walking around the show😂 Also idk about your w900 radio but the t800 with touchscreen, you can hook up the Bluetooth from your phone and it'll read your texts, tell you who's calling and play all your audio(music, Instagram reels, and whatnot)
