Novak man I congratulate you on five years sober! I wish I could say the same for myself... I was 2 years clean(except kratom) until this Coronavirus bullshit started up. It stressed me out more than I thought it would. Lost my job and was just like fuck it I need to escape this madness that's going on in the world and in my life and reverted back to my old ways of knowing how to deal with all the things I was going through. Went a month and a half straight going hard as fuck just to numb my mind, I was going through one of the worst depressions I've ever went through during that month and a half..quit for about a week, was just starting to feel good again and then for some reason I went back at it for a week, but that 2nd week I didn't go as hard as I did before. I felt guilty that 2nd time around and asked myself, "why the fuck are you putting yourself through this again?" For two whole years I could wake up without feeling sick, could sleep through the nigh after a hard days work, without having to get my fix in first thing in the morning. It was the best feeling in the world, and was so proud of myself. I just got too stressed out and I tried to my escape inner turmoil by numbing myself instead of getting support. My mental health has declined from the top of the world to back down to ground level and it sucks. I'm so depressed I can't eat, I'm loosing weight and I'm starting to look like I'm sick...I just want to get back to the old proud me. I have no one to reach out with and this is better than nothing. Much love brother and I hope I can get back to sobriety 🤜💥🤛
