Wasn't able to join for the stream yesterday, so I'm going to watch it as I work today (the next day)

Love your big ass streams!! KZbin's algo probably doesn't play nicely with it, but i love watching them over the course of a few days. Thanks boys! @50 min mark: I think y'all should set up a side camera that has a green screen setup where you can lay a card/board/etc down and have it pop up on the screen, rather than try to hold a card in focus (thinking of Rhado's setup)

Yeah we definitely can do something like that, but I hate the fact that if the card has any green on it it gets punched out. It drives me crazy. A game like this where there is no real art on the cards would work well though

As this is a 7 hour stream that's going to take me days to finish, I'm just going to comment as stuff happens rather than trying to save everything until the end so I can remember. It's really cool that you did this mega stream, I really like this game, although mine is yet to arrive, so I've been playing vicariously though other people for a while. Props for starting in High Rock. Valenwood is the expansion that was crowdfunded at the same time as the base game's first crowdfunding. It's the home of the Wood Elves or Bosmer. Summerset Isle is going to be in the next crowdfunding because there are already things in the released content that tell you go to there if you have it. That's the home of the High Elves or Altmer. The other regions not in the game are: Hammerfell, home of the Redguards, which are dark skinned humans. and Elsweyr. home of the Khajiit, which are the cat people. It's crazy how much of the world there already is in the game when you consider Morrowind, Skyrim, and Cyrodiil (Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) all focus on one region only. So that's my comment from the first 15 minutes of the video.

Legitimately looking forward to these comments as you go through the stream! And hit us with as much lore as you want!

It's cool how different each game is. Even small things like running around trying to bag humans completely puts a different spin on battles. The Necromancer upgrade requiring death feels bad despite not even being that bad solo, it's very easy to accomplish. I'm glad summoning came out, pet synergy is pretty cool in certain kits. Keeping your stacks is great, but the third session starting with 0 is probably the roughest start possible solo. I agree with Nick that it's very difficult to force yourself to play the Elder Scrolls in a different style than you naturally gravitate towards. It's incredibly difficult for me to not use stealth. I also agree that I want everything for this game. There is more than enough content already but I still want all of the regions, all the possible class/skill combos, etc. Building your character up during the first two sessions is so appealing. I really like this game.

Black Marsh's native ability is a bit rough on the sword and shield skill. It's cool that even on the two maps you played which aren't regions the majority of people are familiar with, people that played The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall could point to a place on the first map and say "I've been there", which is really cool. Same with the Black Marsh map. Nick has been to Leyawiin, or he will go to Leyawiin in about 750 years in game time. You guys really speedran the second session. At least you're playing on the easiest mode but you guys didn't try to squeeze all the EXP out of that session. It makes the finale more exciting. I've seen the finale in Black Marsh a few times, they all play out very differently due to keywords and class/skill selection. This is the 2nd time I've seen a Necromancer in the Black Marsh finale.

Great stream! I have a clarifying question though. Concerning the final battle, am I misunderstanding the rules or would you not deploy enemies on the Deslandre revealed tiles if they would exceed your max EP? Otherwise, I’m not sure how you would ever win that conquer scenario with all of those enemies. Either way, can’t wait to get my hands on this game and thanks for the stream.
