The rice berry face serum by littliextra is among one of my favorite serums I have ever used. Its key ingredients feature vitamin C, ferulic acid, Vitamin E, and black rice water. This smooth and brightening serum efficiently penetrates my skin, acting as a hydrator. It gives instant brightness and glow to my skin; simply patting the serum dry on my face works. The serum's consistency is excellent, it's not overly sticky and feels lightweight, quickly absorbing quickly into the skin to leave it soft and smooth. I highly recommend trying this serum; you'll fall in love with your smooth skin!

Yes please. We watch a whole video only to find out we can’t use so many of these products, or it is not mentioned at all. A dedicated video on what we CAN use for anti-aging and skin brightening? So far I am doing well on adapalene 3x a week since I moisturize before and after. Also my skin is much less red after starting CeraVe products (niacinamide) but it could really use some brightening and exfoliation. We never get to use the good stuff like SA, AHA, BHA, Vit C etc. 😢 What can we use instead please?

I recently started tretinoin 5%, which I do every other night and fortunately I've noticed no skin irritation. I'm wondering at what point, if any, I switch over to using retinol/moisturizing in place of the tretinoin. I'm thinking to start the retinol/moisturizer on the non tretinoin days. Does that work? I believe the pH of this serum is much closer to neutral (5 or 6) than is said to be ideal for most formulations of ascorbic acid (2-4). Cerave doesn’t disclose the pH, and when asked says that “the pH is not a measure of a product’s efficacy.” What do you think of this?
@TheBudgetDermatologist4 жыл бұрын
You're exactly right. Most brands will not disclose their pH. They are not required to for cosmetics such as these. pH is not the only factor that determines the efficacy. Other ingredients and formulation technology can also alter the penetration.
