Yes!!! I’ve been doing dip on my nails for about a year now and it’s sooooooo worth it! So much cheaper, a trip at the salon is 50$ and each jar is 10-15$ on amazon and can get 24 manicures from one color. That’s 2 years of nails from one jar.... Can’t beat it :)

Just a FYI, the top coat can harden from that seal protect. That’s why it’s super important to clean off the top of your nails with that paper towel or lint free wipe before you paint on the top coat. Also you need to clean off the bristles of your brush before you put it back in the bottle. You can just use a paper towel and some alcohol or acetone. But wipe off your brush really well between each nail And before closing up the bottle. It seems tedious but TRUST me in the long run it’ll make it worth while. Thanks for making this vid ❤️🥰😘

They look great! Thanks for sharing! P.S. put a hand towel on your work surface, then you can just pick it up and shake it off outside or in the sink and voila, less mess for you to wipe up.

I also started dipping with this kit and I’ve been doing my own nails for the past 8 months. Saved so much money!! Time-saving tip: if you use your e-file to take off the top layer of the nail (the top coat), and THEN soak your nails in warm acetone, it’ll take muuuuuch less time for the powder to break down. I also will throw in a textured cotton round/square in the acetone to rub my nails against while I’m soaking, which further helps the process along 👍🏼

Thanks for sharing. I have been getting my nails dip powdered on and off at a salon for awhile. Yesterday my daughter and I attempted to do the Makartt Polygel. It was much better for her than for myself. I bit the bullet and purchased dip powder off of Amazon today! I hope the dip powder goes better than the polygel. I LOVE Kiara Sky. My favorite is Spellbound at the moment.

Switch out the handle and brush part for the brush saver and the top coat. The company knew the bristles of the brush would harden and that's why they included the 'brush saver' bottle in this kit. You don't need to go out and buy your own extra anything, this kit was almost $100 after all! 😁👍

Melinda Jordon Make sure to really file around the base near the cuticle before your last step 3 seal and protect. You want it pretty flat in that area. I used to have the same issue. 🙂

Love this video and so helpful. I'm trying to get everything to start doiing my nails at home. I was wondering for the nail drill, is it still working for you? Has it over heated? Any problems? I like to ask because everything that I have seen so far on other nail drills has been a hit or miss. Some reviews say that it has over heated to the point of it almost burning through where you control the speed. Thank you so much for sharing this video. Have a beautiful day! xoxoxo

Get a good cuticle oil for afterwards. Using a cotton ball and clip, the plastic/silicone clips from Amazon, it keeps the acetone in a smaller area. Just on the nail and slightly around it.

@@mz5110 well you use the dip powder for the first like 2 or 3 layers. And instead of using a color powder, you buff down the last layer of clear powder to where its smooth and then switch to an actual gel polish and top coat and cure it with the light.
