Great video!! Deff a money saver until it becomes a hobby 😂 just some tips though, one is you can take a lint free wipe and alcohol and clean your base bottle neck after you use it to keep the top from gluing shut. Second is you can use a toothpick to run around your cuticles after each nail is dipped to have a cleaner and more crisp cuticle line. Last is after you use your base liquid on each nail, wipe your brush on a paper towel or wipe before going back into the bottle, this helps with the longevity of your base so it doesn’t get thick over time and contaminated with dip powder from previous manicures!! Much love 😊❤️

Beautiful! Definitely can relate with the short nails haha you can find videos for long or acrylic nails all day but some of us just need our shorter nails. Thanks for sharing your tips! I bought the kiara sky polishes for dip and plan to do mine this weekend!!

Wow. I had no idea this process was so involved. I have never done much to my nails other than some polish now and then. I can imagine this must save a ton of money if you like to get your nails done. This was a fascinating video!

Awe girl that is fun! I’m sure it has taken you those 6 years to get it all down like that. Such a great explanation and love some of the nice comments too, so helpful. I just recently went to the salon to have dip done and now see why you like it. Going to have to save up if I really like this so I can do it myself too.

I just started nail boo dip powder i really like it and I don't have to spend 40 dollars at a salon each time. I'm also starting cash envelopes and challenges as I'm on disability. I hope I can save money and pay off debt. You really have inspired me to try. Thank you !

your nails always look great, thanks for the tutorial! I've tried the nailboo dip kit, but it definitely doesn't last as long as they say. I picked up some tips from this, thanks!

During the panny I learned how to do my acrylic nails and saved tons... I only stopped due to not having the time because I made them so perfect it would be over an hour. I can say the girls at the salon asked who did my nails cause they thought it was professionally done. Then I had a cousin asking me to do her... It was relaxing I can say that... Young nails are also excellent brand... Believe that's their brand. I've used Kara too...

I got my own gel kit after my 2nd daughter was born to save money but keep my nails cute ☺️ sometimes I’ll “splurge” on a set of kiss or impress nails which I can usually get 2 uses out of a box and if they still look good after wearing I’ll save them and use nail glue to wear again ☺️

I personally love doing my nails myself. I just started dip powder about 3 months ago now id say. I use clear on my natural nails and then put my dip colour over it. Having an e-file for sure makes things easier! I've been loving Revel but I'm debating trying out Kiara sky as well!

Thank you! I don’t do my nails to say anything against $ saving, but I do see $ fly with them on my daughter and family members. I like the dipping powder and it treats my natural nails better than acrylic overlays and other products. I struggle with having it last, since I clean a lot 😔…but I can see where we can be more $ saving if we need to look fancy as well 🥰

Great video! I’ve been doing my nails for about a year. My favorite brand is Revel. I too love short nails because for work it’s best. I do my nails every week and it’s a nice time for take for myself. It definitely took me a while to get the hang of it. It’s not as easy as the salon makes it look, but I love doing my own now and will never go back to the salon!

Wow, the dip seems like it’s much easier to get a nice final result compared to gels and regular polish. I just wish they didn’t need to be soaked off in pure acetone, that stuff is so toxic

I think it was to keep flecks of the colored powder from getting in the clear powder. You don’t want flecks of color from previous manicures in your current manicure.

@@irisestrada9796 Have you used a brand that you bought on Amazon that was good quality? I spent $50 on a kit from Amazon and the nails last about 3 days. It was a waste. I kinda feel like it's better to pay for a brand that you can verify from others who have used it that it's worth the price.

Never wet your nails in a finger bath before modeling. the nails become soaked with water and gel or polish will not last as well. you forget the tips of your nails, you have neither varnish nor powder on them! and filing the nails after the color is a nogo. especially not the peaks. there you have no color and it looks very unprofessional.
@thebudgetmom2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the feedback. I am not too sure what you mean with filling the nails after color, I don't believe I did that. Also, my color does extend to the tip of my nail 😊
