2 years ago I got blasted on Twitter for predicting that the Aaron Rodgers experiment would be a DISASTER. As I said, " The NFL is no place for a QB over 40." I also stated the AR situation would set the Jets back another 5 years. The Packers were delighted to be rid of Rodgers. The Jets will go 20 years without a playoff appearance.
@Viking_3673 күн бұрын
To he fair a healthy Aaron Rodgers could play in his 40s. The thing is he may never be fully healthy again because of age. Brady for comparison didn't play the same style of football and didn't take as many hits throughout his career. He also always constructed great lines with contract restructuring. IMO that's the difference between Rodgers struggling at 40 and Brady playing well past 40.

@the_art_of_ruin8855 he hasn't played in a game without injury since week 3 of 2022. He hasn't played a full season healthy since he won MVP in 21. So he was actually great pre injury. Washed, no. Hurt all the time because he's old, yeah.
@the_art_of_ruin88552 күн бұрын

@Viking_3672 күн бұрын
@the_art_of_ruin8855 Yeah, you can say that easily with what's going on. My definition of washed doesn't have to do with being hurt. His ability is limited by injury. Washed, again IMO is when you're healthy and just can't play at a high level anymore because you just can't. It might be time for him to retire because of injury.
@RealisticJetsFan4 күн бұрын
Winners make mistakes, but move past them quickly. Losers make mistakes and then keep doubling and tripling down on them. JD and Saleh were losers. I was hoping AR was not and thought this would be different, but he’s turned out to be exactly as many packers people said. Let’s not double and triple down on him too. Move on now, evaluate the team and take the cap hits next season. The Broncos, unlike the Jets, are playing meaningful games while being in cap hell with a bunch of unknowns. Maybe that can be the Jets and maybe not. The point is, the jets tried something and it failed miserably. Move on from it now
