Весь сспектакль - идеальная работа. Удивительная, прекрасная Наташа Осипова, божественно красивый Даниэль Камарго, дирижер и его оркестр - это вообще сверх профессионализм, супер, супер. Пересмотрела множество балерин и балетных артистов, танцевавших этот балет, но Наташа и Даниэль - недосягвемая высота и врядли ее кто-то превзойдет. Огромное спасибо всем создателям этого спектакля.. Вы все прекрасны.

It`s just that I am peticularily found of Osipovas Giselle. Other Giselles that I also like very much is Svetlana Lunkina and Nina Kaptsova, and of course also Ulyana Lopatkina 😍🎶✨

@Nata Study - Surely, Osipova is ONE out of a small group who could hold that rank. But everybody gets to choose their favorite, bc-quite literally-they are at the same stratospheric level, and the top ranking is purely subjective. Not since Sylvie Guillem has one woman dominated ballet, or leveled the game up several degrees. My personal favorite is Olga Smirnova, whose dancing, also in any category, is divine. This is _my opinion,_ and that’s how our favorites should be phrased.

Without question the greatest Giselle - at least in the last forty years. This is the ultimate Ballerina’s ballet - her nuanced acting and her technique (always supernatural) are just in another realm. She unfurls herself with abandonment and she is Giselle. She takes it beyond the choreography. Giselle’s Act II is the ultimate baller for me, whereas Act I can seem hackneyed - except with Osipova - she makes it fresh and interesting. A masterpiece. Quite wonderful! Thank you for sharing it. In my 62 years I've seen some of the world's most notable ballerinas dance Giselle. Among them were Plisetskaya, Alonso, and Kirkland. Osimova has completely captivated me. From her facial expressions to the liquidity of her movements her arms undulating like tendrils of fog. She truly is unique.

@@mariya_peyda17 not to put in doubt your statement but, I will have to do a little consulting. Plisetskaya was invited to dance in Havana by the Ballet National de Cuba in 1966 or 67. The programme was choreographed by Fernando Alonso and though I was only 7 years old, I remember the buzzing and runnings in the company due to Maya's being there. One of my cousins was a dancer for the ballet and we had tickets for the shows. I distinctly remember seeing Plisetskaya dance variations, however, now I am in doubt as to which ones. I will have to consult with my sister who's much more knowledgeable and involved with the dance world. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Decades ago, my late mother & I watched Lynne Seymour's Giselle with Canada's National Ballet. Like you, we were in tears at the end of both acts. Osipova is every bit as good as Seymour, because both superb dancers also excel at acting.

Блин, это не оркестр должен улавливать движения балерины, а наоборот. Балерина танцует под музыку и должна ее чувствовать. Тагцует как будто босиком, а не в пуантах совсем другое впечатление от танцп

Глупости говорите. Во первых все дирижеры следят за сценой, мало ли что там произойдёт, так что танцоры следуют за музыкой, а дирижёр за танцорами. Во вторых физику никто не отменял и сделать движение быстрее, чем это возможно физически танцор не может, поэтому дирижёр следит и замедляет оркестр если необходимо. А осипова отличается тем, что часто не попадает в музыку, задалбывая этим дирижеров. Несколько раз читала отзывы что на репетициях орёт на дирижёра. Кстати идеально слышащая музыку балерина из современных это Вишнева.

@@cetkin5593 Nie powiedziłabym. Znam balet od tzw podszewki. Chodziłam do państwowej szkoły baletowej , belet to nadal moja miłośc i pasja. Klasyczne baletnice wcale nie mają cieniutkich nóg . Przeważnie mocno umięsnione i wcale nie długie :) . Natalia też ich nie ma . Rzeczywiście , ma piękną twarz , mnóstwo wdzięku i jest znakomitą aktorką. Ekspresja i niebywały artyzm. W kazdym detalu . To bardzo wrażliwa osoba . Bardzo delikatna :)

To, że chodziłaś do szkoły baletowej to wcale nie znaczy, że wiesz lepiej i jesteś dla mnie autorytetem. Ja mam własną opinię nt. piękna tancerek i ich wyglądu. Technicznie wszystkie są bardzo dobre, ale brak im tego 'coś' co hipnotyzuje widza. Natalia to posiada i to ją wyróżnia z pośród najlepszych.

Она - это не техника и не фитнес! Она - открыла новую страницу балета! Вот только поняли это везде, кроме родины ее. На нее, на ребенка еще, Ратманский ставил. Это он ей сказал делать Жизель, которая стала ее второй визитной карточкой, после "Дон Кихота". Но в каком-то смысле она так и осталась непонятой.. там, где балериной называют А.В-ву.

Osipova is so good in this role. I don't envy Camargo dancing up to her level, though he does a good job. She seems to make the other dancers perform better.

I come back to this time and time again. The chemistry with Daniel Camargo is definitely a factor, unlike when she danced with Acosta. I get the impression that Osipova is Giselle. She is a great actress but she is not so much the part in other roles, for instance she is great in Aurora but she is not Aurora.

She's spectacular. I just wish I could see her in a live performance. Living in Athens, GA, I doubt she'll be in town anytime soon. Daniel Camargo makes for a very impressive prince!!

As usual, Natalia’s performance of Giselle is nothing short of sublime and magical. Absolutely breathtaking and incomparable! It’s disheartening to see some of the mean remarks towards this beautiful dancer in the comment section, especially in regards to her weight. She has always been muscular, particularly her legs (which is what probably aids in her amazing and ethereal jumps and leaps). I won’t deny that her technique is starting to deteriorate, but she is 36 and nearing retirement, so I don’t really expect her to have a flawless technique or what is considered the ideal body type for ballet dancers today. What makes her so unique, in my opinion, is her timelessness: She blends both old-fashioned and current trends of ballet into one happy medium. She evokes the old school dancers by her emphasis on emotions and acting, as well as the energy and quick, flitting steps. At the same time, she maintains a lot of the ideal aesthetics of modern ballet with her jumps, leaps, and extensions. There will never be another dancer like her, that’s for sure!

Many expect her to have the same physique as she did at 18, 20 years of age, which is ridiculous, and also near impossible to achieve healthily.

I wish that more dancers would add just a tad more weight, as Osipova has. The added weight gives a more rounded, less angular line, which imho softens the look. Osipova is the happy medium between the busty beauties of the 1890s and the emaciated wraiths of the 1990s.

The ending is somewhat disappointing as in this production Giselle simply drifts off stage whereas in other productions Giselle slowly descends into her grave which is much more effective dramatically
