That is what was called the crab farm. It was owned by Col Neck from Howard Spring he used it as a weekend get away place he had a fenced circular channel dug out there and use to keep crabs in it . Also had a solar pump keeping getting water from the creek. The concrete and stones are a memorial for Hayden oDonohue who passed away there while camping with his mate.

The rubbish comes from the people who come out there and still go crabbing . That place on the change of the tide now is the time for the barra my 10yo pulled a 86cm, and I got a 84çm and mud crabs. Wow, wow . Right were you were standing casting your lure the last time we were out there we seen the biggest croc slide and 2 female cross were hanging out the front of the mouth of the creek

Great stuff again mate. Like the tip about looking in the trees at old camp sites, never thought about that! And good to see you care about the risk to your dog from crocs... some people seem a bit blasé. Well behaved dog too! Keep the vids coming mate. Cheers 🍻

Thanks mate. I’ve found all kinds of stuff left In tree throughout the travels.. yeah, I’m strict on her at times, but I’d rather that than loosing her. She is a top dog, very smart that’s for sure.

Great stuff bruss 👍 Brings back some good memories. We used to use a couple of bits of 2 inch angle iron about 2-3 inch long and a sledgy to break tyre beads . A lot easier than the old bead breaker tool. Someting similar on a smaller scale might come in handy for doing the quad.
