At the end this tank turns oit to be an actual tank but when Cross shows Hank film with Ant-Man and says that this story is made up, we can see on the film a tank with the same number (153) as the one attached to Hank's keys. I think the doors thing is more of a parallel for the "realities" each of them live in. Hank is literally a millionaire, meanwhile Scott is a man poor enough to need to appeal to theft so he gets able to see his own child. Hope's Hank's daughter, they live in a good, reliable neighborhood where police arrived fast enough to effectively surround and arrest Scott as quickly as he leaves the house right after Hope calls them, where is safe enough for them not have to worry about those things (something also highlighted in the fact that from the very beginning of their relationship with Scott they had total prejudice towards his theft-y nature). Scott always has been from the working class and learned to keep his doors closed (as well as you can presume the same from Darren, who started as Hank's student and risen from the nothing)

Guys, i think i found another amazing detail. When darren cross tries to shrink organic matter, he fails when he openly tries it on a subject. But when he first succeeda you can see that he puts in the sheep in a container sort of thing, only then he gets success. Whereas in hank pyms disks they shrink ants/organic matter without them being in a protective medium. This goes to show that inspite of darren being so technologically advanced, hank pyms mind power is unbeatable.

They put a lot of emphasis on his mass and density staying the same when Scott shrinks, which allows him to be super strong when small. Then when cars and trucks get shrunk they seem to be as heavy as a toy car and can rest on a pillow or be carried in a pocket. They should be a heavy as the original car and follow the same laws as the suit, but they don't seem to. If someone thinks I'm wrong and has a good argument id like to here it.

I think the reason behind this has to do with the idea that weight is less dependent on mass and density and more on the gravitational pull on an entity so maybe shrinking also removes some of the gravitational pull on an object which would also explain scotts float like jumps or it could just be a plot hole

When Scott lands on the car roof, he only makes a small dent, indicating that when they are shrunken down they take on the weight of that object size. This means it’s makes sense for the cars to be the weight of a toy car as like Scott shrunken down, they are the weight of the size they actually are.

Absolutely right.. they make mention at the start of the film that the weight/mass of the person/object does not change. What changes is the space between the atoms.. Fun fact.. if you took away the space between every atom in every person in the world, all 7.5 billion or so, we'd all fit in a small bucket. Be it a very heavy bucket!!.. Now i really enjoy this film but it always makes me laugh watching it and then watching ad the science seams to turn in to magic.. such as, at the end.. when that tank (which probably weights in excess of 20 tonnes) that was a key ring in his pocket, magically turns in to a fully operational tank.. lol.. you'd of thought he'd need a REALLY good belt to keep his pants up with thay kinda weight in his pocket.. lol.. Watch the "cinema cins" everything wrong with Ant Man..its really good and he goes in to it in there.. dont get me wrong though, like i say i really enjoy this film and Paul Rudd is a brilliant actor and he adds some well timed and good light hearted comedy to this film and he can also kick ass really well too..

Well, I'm not a complete idiot. I know it's a film and not real. Everyone who's not a complete fool knows that.. so your argument is not valid.. the comment i made was because they went into a lot of effort at the start of the film making a point of him being the same weight when shrunk. But then later he's running along the top of someone's gun.. I'm just saying that if there going to go in to the effort of trying to explain the science behind it all they should try and stick to it.. but as you say it's a film and it would be kinda boring is everything he interacted with had the weight of a 9 stone ish guy stood on them.. and i know ants are strong but even a little team wouldn't be able to pick him up... let alone fly with him on their back..

here is a detail i bet nobody knows about: the thomas the tank engine train from the final battle is an HO scale model from the model train brand bachman however when ever theres a CG version of it on screen (when antman and yellow jacket are fighting on it or when thomas grows giant) the CG artists used the wrong version bachman also made a garden scale thomas with a few differences including a different face that is the version the artists referenced and when looking closley at both the live footage and CG shots you can see the difference or even google both HO scale and garden Scale thomas's it is such a minor detail nobody would notice or care about but i thought it was pretty cool
