@@SuryaTejaArige Could be due to a number of causes, such as a low battery, a faulty alternator, a faulty immobiliser or key transponder.Some possible solutions you can try are as follows:Manually reset the anti-theft system by turning the key in the ignition and leaving it in the on position for 10 minutes or more. Then return it to the off position for 30 seconds and repeat the cycle. Use the key in the car door to unlock and lock the vehicle several times. This may reset the anti-theft system code and allow the car to start . Check the battery and alternator voltage with a multimeter. The battery voltage should be at least 12.6 volts and the alternator voltage should be at least 14.4 volts when the engine is running . If the values are lower, you may need to replace the battery or alternator. Verify that the key is not damaged or deprogrammed. You can try another key if you have a spare.

Great stuff , Thanks and yes you do have to replace the key from the blank key as the new case does not totally match. That is for a holden trax but excellent advice .

Me being the stubborn person that I am decided the video was wrong and I should be able to fit the old key 🤣 After a few attempts a decided you certainly know what you're talking about haha. The old key will definitely not fit haha. Super helful video 👌🏼

The 2nd key for my Astra Elite 2014 has two buttons with a fixed blade. I've watched many of your vids but can't find one which refers to the replacement shell (buttons). I can split the case but am unable to access the circuit board/buttons portion. If you have a vid which shows this I would be most grateful, plus a source where I can purchase a blank case with working buttons. Thak you.

Hi Peter. Sorry there are a few issues, so we don't have a video. Firstly, it's very tricky to get the circuit board out, when I do it I need to melt the old case to get it out. Next, the blades do not switch from one key to another, they are moulded into the plastic, so if you do decide to take it on, you'll need to get the blade cut. Lastly, the replacement cases are not great

Hi We've recently acquired a vauxhall zafira b on an 08 plate and we were lucky enough to be given two keys. One of them is a flip fob and the other is just a standard key with buttons. My question is, can the standard key be swapped to a flip fob by any chance?

Hi Ian, I get asked this a lot. The simple answer is no. the shape of the circuit board is different to the one that works the flip key. As a result, the board from the static key cannot be put into a folding key. You may find something on eBay or Aliexpress, however a word of caution. Opening up a fixed blade key is a bit of a nightmare. The older safe way is to use a soldering iron to melt the seam and open up the key. It's really tricking and a job I hate doing. A hot soldering iron in the finger really hurts :(

Hi Colin. The fixed key is different, the circuit board is not easy to get out and also, the blade does not swap over so it needs to be cut

just remove the 2 pins thats in the way, put the PCB on the button side of the shell en put it together I do it on a daily basic and don't need the old style cases.. and customers are enjoying the 'updated' version. The only time i need a old style is for superseeded corsa remotes with seperate PCF7935 transponder..

Hi, I open them all day long like this. Some of the newer cases can be really tight and I’m not sure why. When I get a tight case I slowly increase the pressure and hold it on and usually they open
