Pro organizer here. Great job on the closet. One thing I would recommend is to put the toilet paper and paper towels down low and the canned goods at eye level. It will be easier to see what you have and not have to squat or bend down to hunt.

When it comes to the books in your closet, you can stack them on floating shelves over your TV. That would look nice and you would open up more space in the closet. Just an idea ... : )

@sinaain3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I would store the books in the living room. I think there are many possible solutions from floating shelves somewhere to one of those book tower shelvings things etc. That would give more space in the closet for the ugly stuff and in my opinion books add coziness to a living room.

But the cute ones that are kinda common like Starbucks ( back in the day ) I would send home leftovers in them. I used to use them to bring my work to lunch in when I worked. I remember I worked at Dillard's in the summer in high school and would get cute bags from the makeup ladies :) I love that Samson has his own shelf.. I cracked up when I thought it was low enough that he might help himself to some extras 😃

@@TheCarlaProject Growing up in Iowa we never had a big store like Dillard's so it was pretty exciting going there in the summers. I loved that store and would get all my clothes there before coming back home for school, since I liked to have unique clothes. Living in WA state now we have Macy's and Nordstrom's. But of course they never quite live up to the times when we were teenagers and were obsessed with clothes. I've only been to Bloomingdales once in Chicago. We've never lived by one, but I liked it.

OMG! I am bugging your videos as I do a house clean, because I am avoiding working on my kitchen makeover, lol. You said early this video that it had stagnant energy and needed to be cleaned- and also that's why houses get haunted because its dead energy just sitting there. While I might like the ghosts (my childhood home that my parents built, I am the second owner), THIS is sooooo true. Like my brothers and sisters cleaned out a lot of stuff from this house after Mt dad passed, bit also left a lot of stuff. And frankly I've kinda filled it back up to cocoon my grief/depression/myself from life! It too me 7 yrs to decide.to makeover the kitchen and it needed it 17 yrs ago (my parents were alive then). I cried taking screws out of cabinet hinges for goodness sake! Lol. But i just heard you say this and it hit me, this house if filled with stagnant energy that I am trying to overcome! Wow! I needed that!

Re: the door knob, that hole looks pretty bad, you may need to have it fixed with wood filler. A bit more time consuming, but it'd last you longer than glueing it on.
