This video was such a good analysis not just on the dynamic between the two, but their characters as well. That scene in Malediktator is definitely iffy, especially if you take account on both sides of Marinette and Adrien. Marinette has been bullied for YEARS from Chloé, and seeing that her bully is now gone is like having a storm finally pass and see the sun again. Plus, remembering what happened in Queen Wasp, Chloé went too far by not only almost causing a train crash, but putting her parents at the risk of death! I don’t blame Marinette if that was the last straw for her. She gave her patience and chances time and time again, but putting her parents in danger and not exactly, in her eyes, be apologetic or not acknowledge what she did wrong, would be it for Marinette. I know Chloé has apologized to Ladybug, but that’s just it, she apologized to Ladybug, not including Marinette, because in Chloé’s eyes, they’re two different people and in her mind, she apologized to the hero, but not to the person who almost became a victim along with her parents. And that’s including the fact in the beginning of Malediktator, Chloé did a presentation on being a hero herself, which can come off as not acknowledging what she did wrong, and neglecting the near consequences of her actions. So I don’t blame Marinette if she would be happy that Chloé gone, which would mean both Paris and her family and herself are safe. But at the same time, Adrien acknowledges that Chloé never exactly intended to hurt anyone, but rather was just neglectful of the consequences of her actions. Yes, Chloé is mean and selfish and she does acknowledge she hurts people, but is she doing it because she’s evil? No, she’s doing it both because she doesn’t have a healthy coping mechanism and because she doesn’t exactly see what the extent of her actions does impacts others. And Chloé leaving New York City and everyone else is just celebrating that she’s gone is off-putting, especially towards Adrien who is a childhood friend of Chloé and knows her more than others do. But what Adrien haven’t seen is how much of an impact Chloé have put because of her actions. For example, Adrien never saw how different Marinette was before they met. Marinette was more withdrawn, quiet, almost a pushover in fact, but when they met for the first time, she was more outgoing and confident, completely different than the previous episode of Origins. He never met that kind of Marinette. To him, he probably believes she’s always been a confident and outgoing girl who did have the capabilities to stand up to Chloé, but he doesn’t beforehand of Marinette before she get the Ladybug miraculous. It’s a matter of perspectives for Adrien that he needs to be told more to get more of the other side of the story. Like you said, the scene was definitely off, and personally, I think it’s because I think it should have been expanded more, not just in this episode, but in multiple episodes in general. It would allow the two to grow as characters (Marinette learning to be more empathetic and Adrien learning to understand other sides of the stories). Not only it would have been a nice development on their characters, but their relationships as well. And the same can be said for Lila. Yes, Marinette had the right idea to lecture Lila for lying about being friends (it is really dangerous), but her method could have been a little better, like not yell at her, or more specifically not in front of her crush or someone she’s trying to impress. It can be humiliating and I can understand Lila feeling hurt by that. And Adrien does acknowledge that it could have been handled a little differently, but he kinda fails to see how it could have affected the superhero lives. Hawk Moth could have take advantage of the situation (or any other crooks feeling threatened by the heroes), but Adrien kind of neglects that. I think it’s because to Adrien, he just sees that Lila is just trying to make friends and just went about it the wrong way, which could be true if not for season 3, and doesn’t see the big deal of Lila lying about knowing Ladybug because he probably dealt with something like that as an actual teen celebrity. He is going to deal with tabloids and gossips about him, and he learned to brush it off. What he fails to see, though, is how big of a deal is, which we could blame his father Gabriel for. And in season 3, with Marinette’s actions towards Lila, I believe that it might be not just because Lila is yet another love rival, but because she’s scared of what Lila can do as a bully just like with Chloé. In the episode, Chameleon, Marinette was given the short end of the stick in favor of Lila, from being pushed to the back of the class without asking her opinion, to almost looking like a bad guy/bully to her own friends. And I don’t think she would blame them at all because they’re just being kind to a new girl who has illnesses and struggles, which she could understand if she haven’t already figured out Lila’s true nature. After all, Lila did steal a book that belonged to Adrien and his father, and never really gave it back to begin with, which raises red flags on Lila. So of course, to Marinette, she sees that her classmates are being taken advantage of and has to save them, especially if they might get akumatized from it. Not to mention Lila is different from Chloé. Her classmates know Chloé isn’t the nicest person and is a bully, and while they didn’t stand up for her before, they have done more of that in the series. Lila, however, they are willing to help her even if it means (unintentionally) hurting Marinette, and they don’t really believe her when she tries to explain Lila’s true nature, chalking it up as jealousy. It could make her feel lonely and become scared she’ll be all alone to face Lila, similar to how Chloé bullies her. Not to mentions the strategies are different. While Chloé bullies Marinette and instills fear and control in others, Lila manipulates emotions and can find a way to make herself the victim and turn others against her attacker. She did that with Marinette, and that could probably be worse than being ignored and forced to fend for yourself. Because you’re being, in a way, attacked by your friends, and it’s not out of bullying or anything, but to protect someone. That can have a scary and traumatizing experience for Marinette, and considering how Lila is planning to hurt her and she knows it, and kind of had a preview of what could happen if Lila succeeds, it’s understandable for Marinette to be scared and want to stop her before she can. But Adrien’s perspective goes a lot different than Marinette’s. In his perspective, he sees that Lila is another victim like Chloé or Kagami who needs someone to help her. He doesn’t really know her and isn’t jumping to conclusion as a person yet. It can be counted as similar as we don’t really know Lila that well, and we have seen glimpses of her home life where she’s alone a lot and probably just wants emotional connections, but we also saw how far Lila is willing to go with her plans, even if means hurting others. But Adrien doesn’t know all that until it was too late, and by then, he has to come up with a different strategy in order to handle Lila. Which could have been avoided if Marinette have been honest and upfront about Lila having threatened Marinette in the bathroom earlier. And that’s actually another thing they mirror on, as civilians and superheroes. As superheroes, they can work together as a team, with some struggles here and there, but as civilians, it doesn’t exactly work all the time. Sure they did have their moments of working as a team as civilians (Guiltrip) but it’s not the same as being superheroes. But there are times they could have had arcs together (mainly in season 2 and 3) that could have had them learn to work together as their civilian selfs (which I blame the writers for missing those potentials). But similar to both their identities, they lack communications. It’s something I wish the show writers could try to explore more on. We see a whole lot of dynamics between Ladybug and Cat Noir, and see how much they grow a lot throughout the show, but as Adrienette, it’s kind of slow and so far in-between. It makes me wish the show have gave the same attention as Ladynoir that they could give to Adrienette. There were even potentials I listed above that could have done that, but instead they decided not to do that. I know that’s like asking a lot, especially when those parts of the show were slice-of-life/monster of the week episodic, but I would have love to see the Adrienette development. And I’m not saying in a romantic tension, but as platonic in order to grow their relationships more dynamically and have them become a couple more meaningful, especially with their identity reveals. I really loved how you analyzed their dynamics and how the two mirror each other. They’re like two pieces of a puzzle that can fit together, but needs a lot of polishing and crafting before they can fit together. Sorry I may have overanalyzed and rambled on my opinions, it probably gone off-topic, but your opinions on those certain moments were really good and I wanted to express my opinion on them. I’ll see you in the next video with my next comment essay.

I JUST REALIZED! (You or somebody else probably said already) Marinette's love language is gift-giving and her creation power manifests itself as a gift to use when saving the day and Adrien's love language is touch and his destruction power manifests itself as an ability that can only be used through direct contact.

You could also see this mutual reflection of behavior very well in Psycomedian. While Marinette is the funny one with her clumsy ways of being herself, Adrien is reserved and more serious. The roles switch as they transform and reveal their other selves. Cat Noir is then the one who constantly cracks jokes while Ladybug acts very responsibly.

There’s something i’ve noticed about Marinette and Adrien being yin and yang. It’s honestly super simple, and probably really stupid. It’s about their looks. Adrien is Yang, and is more dressed in white than dark. His hair is blonde, and his jacket is white. But in the yin and yang symbol there is a black dot in the light, and Adrien is wearing a black shirt. And Marinette is yin, which is dark. She has dark hair and a dark jacket. But her shirt is white, and the yin part has a white dot in it. It’s probably really stupid, but i think it’s kind of cool. I think it’s a cool way to show them mirroring each other, and the yin and yang part of them

I think my favourite way they mirror each other is comparing their reactions to a reveal in Chat Blanc and Ephemeral. In Chat Blanc Adrien didn't hesitate to tell the love of his life how he was feeling but didn't think twice about the consequences of those said actions aka not telling her he knew until she was about to be akumatized. But we never got to see their Ladynoir dynamic before the break up, so we can assume once they both admitted to feeling the same way he became a more serious partner as Chat Noir as well as after he saved her from the akuma. However in Ephemeral when Marinette finds out that Adrien is the partner she's been fighting alongside equally she felt conflicted (possibly cuz of Chat Blanc but it was shown poorly) and had to think for more than a few days about revealing herself because as we all know she is the planner. She planned her reveal out well because all she needed to do was get used to their dynamic as Ladynoir and thus she began to see the Chat in Adrien and vise versa. I think what she didn't account for though is showing her Ladybug side with Adrien before her reveal because she avoided him as Marinette but not as Ladybug. So basically Marinette hides her feelings towards Adrien to protect herself from getting hurt so she feels inspired to express her feelings through gifts, whereas Adrien expresses his feelings openly constantly even when Ladybug has shown to still love another boy. They just express their love in different ways even if they fail.

Late but this is something I realized about Marinette Despite having such loving parents, they don't seem to really /care/ about her. I dont mean this in the sense they don't care at all, but when it comes to when she was expelled by Lila- they didn't care to let her even try to clear her name. They didn't listen to her even when they knew she was innocent/wasn't a kid to do this. I feel this says how they handled things like her being bullied by Chloe for so long. They don't seem like they ever really tried to defend or protect her, and left her to feel she couldn't even speak up against it because of how they didn't act much for it. When she was accused of stealing by Chloe, she panicked and tried to level the playing field so she wouldn't feel like the only one being targeted as she's so used to that and it scared her clearly. Instead of being like "yeah my daughter can't be the only suspect here stop this", Tom just kept telling her to stop and making her feel bad for involving others, which kept stressing her out more. Sure he defended her a bit as anyone should when its happening infront of him to see everything happen, but he also snapped to her instead of at least gently telling her how her accusing others wasn't very kind to do. And in the episode where she was expelled, she even TOLD him she and alya were going to try and prove her innocence and at least that she was framed, but he tried to make her give up completely on everything entirely- just become a baker, when he knows she wants to be a fashion designer too. It made me realize that Adrien has a father who isn't loving, but is overbearing and would try to at least put a bit of effort in helping him if something big like this were to happen to him (and he can't feed off of it ofc/isn't in control of the situation) Marinette has parents who are loving but rather neglectful and somewhat if not entirely unwilling to aid their young daughter in the moments that truly matter, they give up quickly or avoid the issue entirely if its possible- at least Tom does as Sabine shows more fight. They possibly even tried teaching this behavior to mari aswell as she seemed to mimic this behavior until alya came around to give her confidence to stand up for herself. They probably thought they were helping her learn patience and how to think before acting/not to lose her calm, but in result its caused Marinette to be a rather impulsive, paranoid, and panicky person. She can't handle not being in control because she's never HAD control before and it was awful for her without it. She can't handle the risk of confessing to Adrien because the thought of it being a risk too big for her to handle the consequences of terrifies her. Adrien is empathetic because he's learnt to try and understand others because he knows pain can make people act out, and its also just his nature. He's had Natalie and the gorilla dude there to try and do little acts of kindness to show him that they do care, he's had times to breathe away from his father's actions because he's away so often, he speaks up and while it may not get much anywhere- he does get mild help in things (mainly from Natalie and now his friends) Mari is only sympathetic because she's been pushed down and silenced so much/told to give up when things seem too tough that she's been unable to truly consider what pains her threats have been through. Even alya doesn't listen to her when it comes to Lila's cruelty and it shows to hold consequences to how Mari acts. She probably feels like a scared, cornered little dog While he probably feels like a well cared for, big dog who doesn't get petted/shown love

I have thought for some time that the Kwamis also have a role to play in altering their personalities very slightly when they are transformed which adds to the mirroring layers. Ladybug is the more reserved and calculating of Marinette's personas and Tikki is her voice of reason, while Cat Noir has definitely absorbed Plagg's more relaxed attitude to life and spends all his time trying to get Adrien to loosen up. Plagg is also revealed to be responsible for keeping Tikkis impulses under control. Either from talking her down or just destroying her handiwork when she goes off the rails. Master Fu seemed to only choose the pair of them based on their kind outlook and actions towards him, but he afterwards watched them closely to see if there was any sign of a bond forming. I can imagine if one of them had been indifferent or rejected the other he would have redid it with new prospects until there was a match.
@maellesaliou58712 жыл бұрын
Your analysis are so good 😭 you're fair toward Marinette and Adrien, aknowledging both the characters qualities and flaws and appreciating them. I never thought about the fact that Marinette think with her heart as a civilian but with her mind as Ladybug, while Adrien is the opposite, thinking with his mind as civilian and with his heart as a hero, they do complete each so well it's no wonder they are "made for each other" 😄 and beside Chat Blanc and Ephemeral showed that things work perfectly between them when they are a couple, until Garbage Agreste comes and ruin things that is 😒. And also thank you so much for saying that despite Marinette not suffering from the same abuse as Adrien, it doesn't invalid her own suffering. She was indeed a victim of bullying for years, and she probably had no close friend before Alya and Adrien, and it influences her character a lot the same way Adrien abusive home life influences him. So I always understood why Marinette was mean to character like Lila and Chloé when putting myself in Marinette's shoes. Also thank you for saying there's nothing wrong about having fantasies about a boy ! Finally someone who doesn't find Marinette crush and behavior creepy And thank you for saying Marinette/Ladybug is not responsible for the way Lila and Chloé act !! When will the rest of the fandom finally understand that ? Marinette's parents are loving and supportive, but while Adrien keeping secrets doesn't change his already strained relationship with his father at all, Marinette is forced to lie to her parents and keep things from them, somehow creating a distance between her and her family, and that can be pretty painfull for a child to not being able to confide in your parents about things that weigh heavily on you. Both Marinette and Adrien can't seek comfort from their family, but for different reasons. Adrien is suffering from the abuse of his father and the forced responsabilities of this model life he doesn't want, and Marinette suffers from the huge responsabilities she has as Ladybug, and from people like Lila and Chloé who enjoy ruining her life, because bullying is also a form of abuse. So Adrien's is so used to always hold back his emotions as a civilian that when he is Chat Noir he doesn't want to to stop himself from expressing his emotions, this says how much he loves her if he can't even stop himself from saying "I love you" despite knowing his feelings are ot returned 😅

As a victim of bullying myself, I understand how Marinette feels and is "You don't get to hurt me if I hurt you first". In the origins episode, Marinette is pictured as a pushover, until Alya comes along. When I was bullied I was definitely a pushover, and bullies use the power they have over you to bully you. As I got older and went to high school, I sort of developed a defensive mechanism where I wasn't allowed to be hurt by anyone and before they did anything to me, I wouldn't give them power, and I can think of many instances where I lashed out when I didn't need to. Marinette wants to take away Lila's (and possibly Chloe's) power before they can use it, which is completely understandable. She's not going to let them get the better of her, and acts irrationally before she can think of the best way to defuse a situation.

Part 2: Cat Noir’s power is one of destruction, but what people forget is that it keeps Ladybug’s power balanced. For example, it was Plaag that was created to destroy Tikki’s creations if they got out of control. Cat Noir was the one who destroyed the giant (i am going to call it) pastry when it covered Earth. Adrien self-destructs. Because if his sheltered home life, he became lonely. He also became self-efficient and independent which is also a commonality with Marinette. He is also smart and resourceful, but the people around him tend to knock him down and make him feel the opposite. Gabriel abuses him. Everyone treats Adrien as perfect when he isn’t. For some reason, his friends don’t hang out with him as much as they usually did which makes him lonelier. Being Cat Noir brings himself up again. It allows him to be confident in his abilities and give him a sense of purpose. I feel as the seasons progress, it seems when Adrien is up, Ladybug is down. If Ladybug doubts herself, it is Cat Noir that reassures her. If Ladybug is up, Cat Noir is down. It is like a strange energy conversance. Season 4 shows that this balance is fading. Ladybug is on the top of the world and Cat Noir is on this downward spiral and no one notices, except Alya that one time. I feel in order for Cat Noir to find his purpose and his balance again, he needs to separate from Ladybug because she is toxic. Once she realizes how she caused her destruction as well as a few others along with getting consequences, than this balance and healthy dynamic will come back.

You have so much common sense and I love how you actually take the time to realize the characters' motivations and behaviours and how it all ties together instead if just hating on them and deeming them "bad", "selfish", or "unworthy". I also really like how you apply this to all the characters, and take the good with the bad that yes, sometimes they do make mistakes, but what's important is their intentions and what they learn from it. For example, I've seen so many people who hate Marinette/Ladybug who will eagerly list every single bad thing she's ever done to prove why she's a horrible person, but completely overlook the fact that in almost all of those cases she didn't mean to hurt anyone, realized what she did wrong and even apologized (which is more than I can say for some other characters). I don’t remember what it’s called but it’s about how Lila and Adrien are Dark Mirrors of each other. If you type that in you should get results. I love your videos!!! Stay miraculous 😉

4:30 another point that it’s surface level bad luck vs surface level good look. Is that marriette though being clumsy, falling a bunch, making disasters, so on she has the best home life. Her parents love her unconditionally and they give her the space she needs, she also is fortunate with great friends and teachers. Just a cool mirror of how Adrien is “fortunate” yet Marinette is the real fortunate one. And other way around too

(Claiming my « here before the video premieres » 🥳) It’s amazing how they’re so alike but yet so different, like a perfect fit but they don’t know that yet I wish they didn’t get rid of Marinette’s asian features, as an asian myself, WE WERE SO ROBBED ☹️ And the creators saying « we just want it to be the inverted version of Adrien » IS NOT AN EXCUSE 😭 They also didn’t have to give him those ugly orange shoes uhm 😭😭 (Editing this comment for commentary after I watch the video 💙) Yes it’s true, their actions affect each other as they do rely on each other. (You speak literal facts I LOVE YOU GEE

This one might be a little long but I think it is important to share and especially under a video like this but I think the ships mirror each other a lot and I couldn’t understand exactly how until this video. The first discovery I made was that ladrien and marichat flip in a very interesting way because marichat is full of communication and not much emotion whereas ladrien on the other hand is packed with emotion and there’s not much communication involved but what I didn’t realize until today was I thought that adrienette and ladynoir we’re supposed to flip in the same way but they really don’t… it mirrors in a different way like as you said adrienette is full of Marinette who is clumsy and jokes all the time and Adrian who is reserved and mature but once it flips to ladynoir so does the dynamic chat noir is the one cracking jokes and being funny when ladybug is serious anxious, and cautious which I thought that was cool.

Wow! I loved the way you analysed those small little things that we sometimes miss to notice. Like how Adrien/Chat noir always protects ladybug/Marinette impulsive-ly. I really wish I could see the things you see them And in 19:16 you said that we sometimes have to take risks to grow and the reason Marinette doesn't get anywhere with Adrien is because she doesn't take risks and likes to play it safe. The same can be the reason for why she was able to defeat Shadow moth..... But in the finale episodes Risk and Strike.... Ladybug may take risks because of Risk and maybe that can cause the downfall of Shadow moth. That's a possibility, right?

"Adrien and Marinette really mirror each other in such interesting ways! Both struggle with their identities and feelings-Adrien feels the pressure of being the perfect son while Marinette deals with her shy nature and unrequited love. They both have secret lives, with Marinette being Ladybug and Adrien as Cat Noir, which symbolizes their desire to break free from societal expectations. Plus, their interactions show how they're each other's source of strength and inspiration, even if they don’t fully realize it! It’s like they complete each other’s stories in so many ways. ❤✨"

I wonder in the future Seasons of Miraculous Ladybug that Marinett/Ladybug will learn that the boy (Adrien) that she secretly loves turn out to be Cat Noir all along without any time travel reverse like in Blanc Cat and Ephemeral .

I knew that Ladybug's suit being fair and simple was probably because Marinette never wanted to be a hero in the first place, thank you for confirming it 😃 and since the Miraculous costumes come from the desires and imagination of the wielders (like the virtual avatars in Code Lyoko 😁) if I'm not wrong, it's logical the magic takes Marinette mindset for her superhero form. And ladybug's role and responsabilities became a burden weighting more and more with time, so Marinette costume never changed in consequences, expect when started creating the magical charms for some reasons 🤔

Maybe Chloe's behavior will change when she realizes that her half-sister is the new holder of the bee miraculous in Penalteam who gave her an embracing sisterly hug despite Chloe throwing a nerve at her, and when she's in a relationship with Luka when she founds out that he and Juleka are the son and daughter and Jagged Stone and will gain a new respect for Jules upon that realization when it happens and Luka can help Chloe moved pass that whole Ice Queen act to be a better person since they would probably know the feeling about being abandoned by a parent as a child, well technically Luka and his sister weren't born yet when Jagged left and Chloe was already born and little when her mom did but you get what I'm saying and coming from with this

So... I know their outfits literally mirror each other but I feel like they do so slightly more deeply too. For me their shoes mirror in a really cute way. Marinette wears flat shoes, sensible option. But they are also cute and coordinated and smart. Not entirely the image she projects all the time (certainly around Adrien). Adrien has gone for bright orange trainers. In my opinion this is his rebellion. They are wild, out there, fun and expressive. Not the public image he projects (or is allowed to project). I'm probably way over reaching, but I quite enjoy that thought.

I'm not joking, but if you look closely at Marinette and Adrien's clothing, you can see that it represents Yin and Yang. Marinette has a white shirt and a black jacket on top hence Yin. Adrien has a black shirt and a white jacket on top because he is represented as Yang.

empathizing doesn't mean you care about the person or bother to connect and you can still bother to connect and care without carying on absorbing others emotions so like empathy isn't compassion or love there is also two types of empathy or at least most commonly known empathy congetive empathy seeing others view points and point of view affective empathy which can also be called emotional empathy feeling and sharing others emotions and implusivity is good when it leads to creativity bravery and imporvising its only bad when it leads to reckless and fool hardly behavior being impatient and irrational plus illogical implusivity gets needs to be controlled

Ying and Yang answers. Sorry of some of it is repetitive. Writing this before watching The me that is angry with the show: one is nice (adrien). One is mean. (Marinette) The obvious me: marinette is creation. Adrien is destruction. Now the analysis time. With Marinette, she is perfect (as we saw in other videos) for the ladybug miraculous because of her power to create and invent. She is resourceful and relies on her brain power to solve any problem. Through the previous seasons, it was her that inspired change and created good dynamics. Adrien as Cat Noir comes around and he is responsible for some destruction (more in that in my next comment post). All in all, it was Marinette that had to pick up the pieces sometimes so in that regard, I can understand some of her anger or maybe resentment to Cat Noir because she hates picking up after him whether it was literal or figurative. Ok I can get behind that. The part I cannot get mind is seasin 4 Marinette. Talk about character assignation. What this version of Marinette never understood, even sometimes in previous seasons, that she causes her own destruction or destruction of others. The writers do not give her consequences, at least ones that matter. Like Chloe, intentionally or unintentionally, she caused some akumitizations but she never tried making up for it or trying to make amends unless it was those stupid half-baked apologies. In season 4, also unintentionally or intentionally, she destroys her partnership with Cat Noir while creating new ones, especially with Alya. Each thing she does or says causes more of Adrien’s low self-esteem and his doubt in her. No I am not trying to say she needs to hold his hand or be his comfort animal, but her words and actions hurt, and she does not pay attention to that. Yes, these two need communication and yes Cat Noir has imperfect timing sometimes, but in my eyes, every time he tries to talk to her or suggest ideas, she goes “no that’s stupid. Listen to me”. Not in these exact words, but they feel that way a lot so no winder he feels he cannot talk to her. This is the destruction she causes. Her power and mind creates, but her words and actions destroy which is interesting.

I am in the middle with Marinette being mean to Chloe and Lila. No, she should not have to be nice to her bullies. She stands up for herself and her friends. I just don’t think humiliation is the answer. In Queen Banana, all she and Zoe did as their alter egos was talk smack about Chloe and humiliate her in front of everyone. I am not justifying Chloe’s actions. She needs to stop, but I still feel Chloe gets more consequences than Marinette and Ladybug sometimes. Lila lies through her teeth and I hope more will figure out her act. I hate what Lila does, but at the time, her hanging out with Adrien did no harm. She told a white lie. Again, not justifying it, but I feel Ladybug should have taken the Spiderman route where he hires someone to wear a costume while he arrives as Peter Parker so Marinette can explain how she is friends with Ladybug and can answer some questions and how Ladybug can calmly talk to Lila away from Adrien. Will Lila still overact? Maybe. But I think she would not feel so humiliated. While I do agree that she apologized to Lila (fine), but she still has not stopped planning an attack on Lila and letting things be. My problem with the show is she is hypocritical especially when she does not think things through. I get protecting her friends, but her issues with Lila started because she was hanging with Adrien. It was not because she was lying at first, but another girl is stepping in on her man. She was really possessive which is not good in a friendship or relationship. She didn’t even know Lila yet when she started hating her. Also, she did not trust her fiends enough to form their own opinions. Standing up for herself is great. Don’t let me people take you for granted. I just want her to acknowledge and learn from her actions. I hate her hypocrisy throughout the show which is the fault of the writers, not her. But because the writers wrote a character, it brings out my hatred of the character.
@cosplayerqueen98782 жыл бұрын
I wholeheartedly agree. Ladybug's job is to protect the innocent not punish the guilty. She judged Lila and hated her before she even got to know her. I know she apologized, which would be fine, if not for the fact that she never learns from that lesson. She did the same thing with Kagami, but worse because she actively teamed up with Chloe to bully her. I know she apologized and they're friends now, but she clearly never learns from her lessons.
@gabrielleduplessis73882 жыл бұрын
@@cosplayerqueen9878 i felt so bad for Kagami. She dis nothing wrong. All she did after Frozer was try to make friends and to me personally, Marinette and her friends treat her as a disease. I know Adrien did not treat her well in Lies, but at least he treated her like a person. The timing sucked. That’s all. I picture a storyline where she runs into Max, thanks to an old friend of hers, and he leads her to Nathaniel and Marc so they all can work on the comic book together. And also later Lukagami. Anyways, i want her to have friends that care about and respect her. I do agree. Apologizing is fine if a) you mean it and b) you learn from it and change your actions in the future.
@cosplayerqueen98782 жыл бұрын
@@gabrielleduplessis7388 Yes! I love the idea of Kagami sketching in the park one day and Nathaniel and Marc see her and recruit her to draw in their comic book. This would cause her to be integrated into the group, meet Luka through Juleka, and eventually make up and become friends with Adrien again. Luka can teach her how to chill out and make friends, and she can teach him how to stick up for himself and grow a bit more of a backbone.

Maybe we'll get to know Lila more when she's the new holder of the Peacock Miraculous and co-working with Felix since we've seen that her mom isn't always around for her because of her embassador job and maybe her dad didn't want her and was quick to reject and neglect her and probably walked out on them before they moved to Paris and perhaps she tried to nice and honest like Marinette is now but but nobody noticed her and she let that get to her and then one day she realized she could obtain people's attentions by coming up with false stories and rumors to as a way to guide her and survive the world by herself maybe she doesn't like to lie but she probably has to rely on it
