This is why I think what Toby Fox is doing is incredible. After making Undertale, he had such pressure on his shoulders that any other games he makes must be as ground-breaking if not more so, and 2 chapters in to his new 7 chapter game Deltarune he's already knocking it out of the park. I admire him for not crumbling to the pressure to live up to your past achievements, I know I would have, but he's testament that you can get over that to great success.

Rather then crack under the pressure pointlessly trying to copy the magic of a game he never expected to blow up in the first place, he accepts that it’s unlikely he could give that type of experience again and instead does something almost completely different. With expectations that it isn’t gonna go as far. Which, ironically, in my opinion, is what gave Deltarune its own spark, even comparable to its predecessor. It's VERY true, but we know we can expect masterpiece games from Valve because, I mean c'mon, it's Valve. The studio that made Portal 2, I STILL PLAY THAT GAME'S MAIN STORY I'VE FINISHED LIKE 20 TIMES BUT MY GOD
