The heating system is a closed loop and as such the treatment of the water in that closed loop is extremely important. A heat transfer additive (glycol), and rust inhibitors (even if most of your piping is Pex) the Ph of the loop water is very important. Best to put it on a regular service schedule with a plumber/boiler fitter. Staying on top of it will greatly increase the life of the entire system i.e., boiler, pumps, valves, fittings, and radiators. I’m sure the team at Lalande are keenly aware of this but sometimes a reminder can help.

Micheal Potts wanted one so the room that became the flower room was cleaned up and the mirrors added. Now it is the flower room but not heated. Selmar and others occasionally do flowers there still. Stephanie said while touring the work building area near the tennis courts that the Storage room or old room for baby pigs would make a good Spa near the Pool one day.

She is working with a plumber per her mother. On one of the Vlogs she and Amaury were picking out new radiators. Ian has suggested a Geothermal expert but they are in the middle of a country area and they have to wait for these people and the radiators to arrive.🤣🌹

I understand it’s easy to get excited by projects that are vanity projects but it’s a case of prioritising what is important and if you’ve got leaks all over the chateau surely the heating system is a priority and the re designing the garden is not.

I have been enjoying your videos for quite a while now they are so much fun and educational. The drapes in your bedroom are made from the same fabric that I made for our Dinning room/ Kitchen 3 houses ago. I really liked that fabric. That bird wallpaper is wonderful. I absolutely love it. Dear Stephanie and Ladies from Lalande, my personal experience - I am 50+ years old - is that a daily scoup of collagen powder into my coffee (or how you like it) helps tremendously with little wrinkels around the eyes and in the face. It is a filler from inside, cheap and very effective. It is absolutley worth trying it for at least one month. I hope you are all well and your are beautiful as you are.

Dan stated that the Kitchen ceiling is dry and only bowed with age. The Kitchen restoration is on the list but Heating/radiators project is first and then the insulation in the Grand Salon as it leaks heat. Then the panels waits for a month at stable temperature. Natti's and Gerry's apartments are still being worked on I hope. I also hope Shower room and downstairs Loo will be finished soon.
