lol @ the plastic bag thing. I'm asian and I married a caucasian man. When we first went on a grocery trip, he tried to put the plastic bags in the trash after. I was like no no, we can use them later. We now have a billion plastic bags stocked up. His family also doesn't use plastic bags for anything other than the kitchen trash. I use the grocery plastic bags on the little trash cans around the house. So much cleaner that way.

Turn on the fan, open the window, or put on different clothes. Shoes? Take them off, You where just outside! Food? Here, take this and this back to your house, your mom might like these. Aspirin? We don't have any in our household...

"Ok we got this box of chips from Sam's Club and we got pimento cheese you want a pimento cheese sandwich? A'ight, breads on the counter, cheese in the left side of the fridge, make what you want." Leaving? Say good bye like five times then spend half an hour talking on the porch until someone gets tired of standing or tired of the mosquitos and leaves. AC? You.... you turned it off? Why? Pain. my parents always keep the plastic bags just so they can put it in the trash can, same thing with the newspapers. but, tbh, it stops from leaking.

In Minnesota our leaving is simmilar. There is such a thing as a "Minnesota Goodbye" where we will periodically say "I better get going" and then starting up conversations over and over for around a half hour to an hour, sometimes longer. My boyfriend had a lot to adjust to.

My family keeps one plastic bags with tons of other plastic bags inside under the sink and my grandmother and I rather hand wash the dishes. Also, does that Tiger Balm really work? I get frequent headaches and I'd rather not take tons of pain killers every day like I'm currently doing.
@lemontea1289 жыл бұрын
+Lili Rose that's where I keep my plastic bags too! Hand wash dishes to save water. Inthink it works for mild headaches but not sure for severe ones though

I'm a tiny bit Asian but I think the reason my life growing up was so relatable to what you guys were showing is because of the influence of my Japanese relatives and my parents seeing the since in it. I've taken it even farther than my parents did simply because I enjoy it and it just feels homey to me. Just a tip, use the leg of an old pair of sweat pants to hold your plastic bags. You can stitch velcro to close the leg and hem a wire hanger in behind the velcro to hang it in the closet or under the sink. The elastic in the ankle holds in the bags while allowing you easy access to them. No more bag avalanches.

24k pure Asian here, I agree with most of the stuff, but that air-conditioning and hot tea thing r just bs, never in my life I have drank hot tea after a work out and i have never seen Asian so poor to that point where u try to save a few cents by using the fan instead. in fact, Asians are very generous when treating guests.
@Phoenix.2195 жыл бұрын
Yupp...maybe if someone can't afford AC then they will use fan but that hot tea stuff never happens... usually we offer tea to everyone....but in summer we always offer them some home made cool drink like some fruit juice,jaljeera or lemon sugar water solution first....... usually in India we don't use those packets as snacks... usually our snacks too are some cooked stuff not readymade...as readymade we use mainly cookies
