Kim thank you so much for this concoction! My low porosity hair needed a serious moisture pop after a rice water treatment. This mask did the trick and I even tried the Bantu knot-out style. I haven't done that style on my hair since you did your first one five years ago. The mask was easy to make and whipped up perfectly. My hair now has luster, moisture, and is just beautiful. Our hair length is about the same so this style was perfect. Thanks again.... long time subbie :-)

Just tried this i love it. I actually been doing a somewhat similar mask for years.. Instead of coconut oil i use olive oil and instead of lemon i use honey. ..both gave me great results

I just use avocado fruit and conditioner the lemon dries my hair and the coconut hates my hair . Lol Also noticed over the years that my hair prefers avocado fruit to the oil. Comes out soft and bouncy . 🙂🙂

Shampoo is for the roots only. It will create dry ends which could lead to breakage. Curls are definitely hydrated after the mask.

Lol i just ended up doing this recently. i bought an avocado but didn't use it in time, it got too mushy. I just mashed it up with some conditioner and acv, it worked pretty nicely.

I did an avocado and banana mask and had bits of both in my hair. I had to use a fine tooth comb and conditioner to get it out. My hair looked and felt great but never will I put avocado or banana in my hair again.
