So impressed by all you accomplished last year! And here I sit, with a pile of adorable 1930’s repro fabric that’s been sitting on my dresser since 2020, along with a pattern for “Harlow Beach Pajamas.” Did you know fabric could accumulate dust? 😉 I really need some of your motivation/inspiration. ❤️

About halfway through this video I paused, grabbed my sewing journal, and wrote down a bunch of notes from the first half about ideas for my own wardrobe. Some incredibly beautiful outfits were made in 2021! Also, your Mugler inspired jacket made me so nostalgic, because in the 90s my mom was obsessed with Mugler and she owned several bodices/jackets that really reminded me of the one you made. Beautiful stuff. And I hope this year you find some more time for writing, I know I need to as well!

Hi Bianca , happy new year to you. I have watched with interest every video you have put on youtube and enjoyed them very much. If you’re open to suggestions, would you be able to demonstrate how you would draft a dress without the waist seam please? I wear dresses a lot of the time but always find them more comfortable if that waist seam isn’t there, and of course there’s always the added benefit of not having an interrupted pattern.
