@@zedz1989 maybe, but you're not caring about whether they love mopney ot not when you're going to the shops. You're just tryna get a good deal and bounce. That's one thing that was good about those shops; you could always get a good deal. Now with all these inflated prices they're setting, they've now shuts out the 'loyal' customer. They use their 'incressed' monthly rent charges and utility bills to keep the shop open as an expense to charge customers more.

@@DEEDUBZ Its not. I live in east london, and go to Camden Town at least once a week.... my local Morleys does £3.50 meal deal, Camden town, same meal, £7. Its the business rates. Camden has lots of tourism traffic = higher business rates.

@@SkippingBaboon £3.50 is still teef. The prices should range from £2.00-£2.50.. £2.75 max without drink. Anything above that and that's teef. I guess I'm from the oldskool where deals we're £2.00 and £2.50. I could go back further where prices were cheaper but customers should not be paying anywhere in the region of £4.00 plus for a deal. Better off just buying your own Chicken and Chips and doing it yourself. Save so much money.

And before you know it, they'll start joining in with the rest of them; bumping all their local customers. Even if you try hustle for a good deal you'll still be paying about 50p minimum too much. Not worth it...at all !!

All I was getting at, is Camden, I don't recall ever paying a "fair" price for the food, and that's going back years!

Come to Mamaes in watford. They do fat burgers with some nice spices. Wings are well seasoned and soooooo good and the chips are banging. Get a fillet box meal for £6.99 and you get wings, chips, burger and a drink and it’s worth it !!!
