a lot of people dislike this studio's spaghetti-noodle animation, and i agree that it doesn't work for EVERY movie, but it feels like these characters were tailor-made for it.

Really? So many people I knew and saw online were so happy cartoons were cartoons again, cuz they kissed it. 3D animation was pretty stiff and realistic during this time and Hotel Transylvania showed that 3D *can* be cartoony.

It's a weird little detail but I find it funny that the monsters become "bigger and louder" to appear more frightening but the scariest thing a human can do is to go completely still and quiet.

Lubov castle is actually inspired in a real castle, including its name. It's the Castle of Ľubovňa (or Ľubovniansky hrad in Slovak) located in Stará Ľubovňa in Slovakia, which is very close to Romania.

Just so you know, some fun-interesting facts about this film: * Transilvania is a region in Europe, today Romania * the hotel is a real place in Transilvania and it's called the Bran castle (also well known as the Dracula's castle). It has lots of history, myths and also it's a great place to visit * Dracula is an old fictional story written by an irish writer, Bram Stoker. In time it was asociated with lots of myths and legends and with a historical person named Vlad the Impaler (or Vlad Dracula), an important ruler that had some horrible bloody things done. His favorite way of executing was impaling his enemies on stakes in the ground and leaving them to die (which also the name) * The Bran castle was named as Dracula's castle due to the historical events in that place and around it with Vlad the Impaler + people saw it as the perfect description to the castle from the author's original story * When you say Romania, you say dracula or the place where dracula lives. That's one of the most associated things people say they know about this country 😂 Glad you enjoyed the film! I love this movie too! Just wanted to say that true love like that does exist. It was love at first sight for my husband and I, we got married 3 months after we met and next month is our 10 year anniversary 😊 it doesn’t work that way for everyone of course but it did for us

This movie is definitely one of the best Adam Sandler has been in and I always loved every monster. The father daughter relationship between Dracula and Mavis always comforted me because it reminded me of my relationship with my dad. It showed me the parent perspective on wanting your kids to be safe no matter what and it became more personal to me since my mom had passed away too. Alot of people did not like this movie but most people don't enjoy any movies Adam has been in for quite some time.

I really liked the story with the growing friendship between Drac and Johnny. Now as a franchise in my opinion the storytelling just dowgrade with every movie. I guess you'll see for yourself but Johnny gets treated as a background character more and more and gets dumber. I think the first one is the most charming.

I can't say the Zing comes without drama especially when one side's family hates the other for something that the individual cannot change. This movie puts it in ways even kids can understand because no-one has control over what, where, or when we're born, who we love and how our families react to that. Thankfully this movie also showcases that when your motivation is love, you *can* stop hating an entire group for what they are.
