@@TheCommandersQuarters I have done this too many times, but pairing up Miirym with Thrakkus the Butcher, you are swinging lethal because of commander damage. If Prowler's Helm is equipped to Miirym, the chances of killing that player are high

I'm kinda surprised the Dragonborn Champion wasn't in the discussion. It's a 5/3 red and green dragon warrior that costs 2 {r}{g} that reads: Whenever a source you control deals 5 or more damage to a player, draw a card. I mean what's not to love? A lot of your dragons will meet that 5 damage threshold just by attacking. Not to mention, that card draw is doubled if you have Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm in play. So have fun swinging in for a TON of damage, drawing a bunch of cards and taking your opponents value town, population: your opponents demise!

The thing that gets me hype is the fact that there are a ton of new dragon creatures within these colors in the new set. The ones ive seen have amazing abilities that reward dragon tribal decks.

with Tiamat I usually pull Terror of the Peaks, Kaarthus, Lathliss, Gnawbone and a 5th one depending on the situation, now this will always be my first choice

I'm currently working on building Miirym myself, I'm planning on running both copy and flicker spells! My plan is to copy Miirym with Sakashima of a thousand faces, Spark double and Helm of the host so I get even more copies of my other Dragons entering, then flicker those dragons repeatedly with Thassa deep Dwelling, Deadeye navigator, and Conjurers closet. I'm also going to run other copy spells like Reflections of Littjara, and Riku of two reflection. My friend told me to add mana echoes as well, which goes infinite mana with Deadeye navigator, add chromatic Orrery to make it all colored mana.

I remember pulling Utvara Hellkite a long time ago. As a very budget oriented player I just put it in a box thinking it is waay too mana expensive to cast and useless. Now I play it in my Vrondiss precon I bought some time ago to get into commander. When it drops if it survives...man. That is game.

Oh man I got the vrondiss precon as well and added Utvara! My vrondiss deck is nowhere near precon anymore, it is heavily modified! I just need to add silverclad ferocidons to it and I think I'll be satisfied with how he's built!

One of the first things I thought of when I saw this guy was things like warstorm surge and other additional dragon ETB effects.

Miirym can go infinite with Deadeye Navigator soulbonded to Ganax Astral Hunter or Rapacious Dragon for infinite treasures and ETBs. Use Dragon Tempest or Scourge of Valkas as an infinite damage outlet from the ETB triggers.

If you're in a pod and you get this Dragon out and follow up with a Sunscorch Regent, if no one answers you quickly you're not only going to get two extremely big beatsticks on board real quick but you're also going to be gaining a lot of life. Or just imagine the fun of having this dragon out with Ur-Dragon and Conjurer's Closet. Make multiple copies of it to have giant beatsticks on board or even Scion of Ur-Dragon to get access to any dragon in your deck for multiple plays. Really nasty stuff. Dragon Tribal got it big this year.

The Primevals(all ten of them), the Fate Reforged versions of the Dragonlords, Amareth the Lustrous, Vaevictis Asmadi the Dire, Drakuseth Maw of Flames, and both Kamigawa Spirit Dragon cycles would work wonderfully with this card. For the Primevals I am counting the Planar Chaos versions hence why I put ten.

Would this work with clones? The first clone would die but Miirym would see it and make a nonlegendary token copy, which if you played another clone on, would make you 2 more Miirym copies, and so on. I think so, and that would be really strong!

Spark double and CL sakashima also mean you are getting 3 times the copies. You have them enter as copies of this, and then it triggers, netting you a token copy of the nonlegendary clone, so from then on any dragon comes with 3 friends Someone will have to tell me if it works with regular clones because while this says the copy is nonlegendary, would a shapeshifter enter as this and become legendary again? Or would the "enter as," mean that the nonlegendary apply to its new form. Because just having an army of 6/6 flying ward would be dumb

I think it's be more fun and better to bounce Terror of the Peaks or Utvara getting more clues of them then more copies of Lathliss! Imagine the insanity of getting 4 or 5 Terror of the Peaks triggers every time you cast a dragon, let alone duplicating terror of the Peaks by blinking him!
