It's been noted again and again that men are visual creatures, and so by walking up and checking him out, she showed that she was interested in him in a direct, physical, visual way. Clear signals that she's interested and likes what she sees. Amarra on the other hand, avoided the 'I don't know syndrome'. She knew what she wanted to watch, where she wanted to eat and what she wanted to do. It's feedback without just being a list of things, but in that one conversation, you know what kind of movie she likes, what kind of food she enjoys and something she finds romantic to do. As a woman, I've noticed that all women have to do is just be a normal human. Don't be insane, over-the-top, or too try-hard. Don't be mean. Instead, be friendly, have genuine interest in the man, and be supportive and appreciative. Women don't have to work hard to get a decent guy. It's always the men that have to work, and that's how nature works; it's the same in the animal kingdom. But, for some reason, a lot of women want so much control, many women are a little greedy (not just with money) and pretty impatient, so they spiral into bad behaviors that aren't attractive to men and the women drive themselves crazy which also drives men further away from them. Sadly, I've learned this from personal experience, having had absolutely no social or "romantic etiquette" for lack of a better phrase.. or that kind of guidance from mature adult women as I was growing up. It took me a long time to learn, and I have a lot of remorse, but at least I learned. I feel extremely sorry for females and males growing up in today's world. There are almost zero healthy male or female role models for children. It makes me so sad.
@aimsfabs6147 Жыл бұрын
That’s not COMPLETELY true: Women are supposed to be ‘pretty’, smart and kind- love cooking and making a home but also a career woman(as this is STILL what many men want in a woman) , but not too accomplished because it makes men feel inferior, Independent but not too independent because it makes men feel inferior, but not too dependent because you look like a gold digger. Attractive and confident but not too confident cause you look cocky and not too attractive because THEN people say it ‘tempts men too much’, ‘you look like a h** and like you’re trying to hard for attention’ but don’t cover up too much cause ‘you look like a prune’- being a woman and dating exposes many double standards and can be extremely confusing. We are told to be ‘this’ but not ‘too much of this’ cause then it becomes unattractive etc. So in my opinion, what you said regarding ‘women don’t have to do much to find a good man but men do have to, to find a good woman isn’t true’ Because a lot of women in relationships accept the bare minimum and are too afraid to ask for more, put up with disrespect and are too scared to leave but for majority of men- if they aren’t happy they demand more or jump ship in an instant.

@aimsfabs6147 I think a lot of what you said applies to what society says about women, more so than just one man. When it comes to actual wife material, as opposed to a one-night stand, a lot of men don't like when women wear too much make-up or are too exposed, for example. I've never personally met a guy who was serious about a woman who said, "She covers herself up too much and doesn't wear enough make up." I've never even heard that from guys just looking to get laid. The problem is that there are way more crappy men and women in today's world, so everyone is getting the wrong ideas about what the other sex wants in a partner. If a man has the capability to take care of a woman on his own, I highly doubt that he'd want her working. He'd want her to be at home raising their kids. The government (like always) is mostly to blame for the destruction of the nuclear family; now, it's almost impossible for ordinary couples to have only the man working to survive as a family. The government also allows human trafficking and porn, so they know what they're doing. They're weakening society in order to control everyone, and it's working. They're literally driving everyone insane and gaslighting people into thinking depravity is what men and women REALLY want to be happy. The perfect example is that Adam22 guy and his "wife" LenathePlug, if you know anything about them.

Women do not need rizz. They need to be genuine, they need to show effort and interest, not be fake or mean or entitled, or bratty. They need to show that they find us attractive and want our affection. What your mom said about lightly brushing the arm or whatever is actually really good advice. it's a signal to a man that a woman is comfortable and wants to be close. Initiating conversation or physical intimacy are huge positive signals to a guy. It doesn't make a woman a hoe to go up and hug a person, or to take his hand, or initiate intimacy or call/text first. Being genuine and kind is far more important to a man than a woman's ability to come up with a witty pick up line. We don't care about pick up lines.

As a woman Rizz is entirely unnecessary. I’m not above-average looking, I’m not flirtatious, but I am always genuine. I enjoy meeting new people, I love sharing my interests and never shying away from being true to myself. As a result I have garnered a lot of interest from men despite their being a myriad of prettier girls and charismatic girls. For reference, I’m only 21. The boys I’m near are literally surrounded by beautiful, talented, and smart women at the peak of their attractiveness yet more men have openly expressed romantic interest in me than any of my friends or school mates. True confidence- which is being yourself- is attractive. You don’t need to play games, or be who you’re not. Treat everyone respectfully and with kindness, that’s how genuine connections are born.

I never really got any interest from men. I had a lot of male friends I had crushes on throughout my life. The stereotype is that male best friends always want their female friends. Nope. Not true. At the age of 20 I've never been asked out and never been in a relationship. I've been told I'm above average looking but my " weird personality" is a huge turn off. Good video. I know there are women who makes the first move, and ask men out on dating. It's rare. If a woman tries to rizz or flirt with me, I'll get nervous because I over analyze the little things. It's great to see both genders having fun. :)

It'd be interesting to see the DW cast do this. Classify it as "team building" if you wish. It would be entertaining and educational at the least.

I was walking into work and my now husband was sitting on the bench inside. Never spoken to him before, I stopped and told him how beautiful his blue eyes were then I walked off. Less than a year later we were married and have been for over 22 years. He still tells people about that so maybe I’ve got whatever this Rizz is. Haha

The first girl did really well because she was straight to the point, defining what she liked, what she wanted to do, and didn't leave it open to ambiguity. That was fantastic and exactly how us men communicate. She initiated (appropriate) physical touch, which is big for many men, including myself. On top of that sneaking in a cheesy pickup move, which I feel men appreciate much more than women, because we just think it's a fun way to interact. I liked that the one girl opened it up with a casual hug. Going back to the physical touch, it shows that they are comfortable with you and trust you. And it defines a boundary and puts us at ease. We feel like we can initiate physical contact with them being ok with it. Otherwise we feel like we have to keep a distance between us as to avoid making her uncomfortable and putting us in a damning position. The last girl, who Brett thought would rank high, I thought the conversation felt a little awkward and the only reason it kept flowing is because the guy was really good at keeping it rolling. She had a couple good lines, but mostly reacted to him. The opening line that Brett really liked, I personally wouldn't have thought anything of it, maybe just a girl thing. I agree with the good exit though. The closed off girl just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. And the other two just weirded me out.

Shy Traditional Girl's guide to Rizz: 1. Be Yourself (don't put on a persona, it's exhausting!) 2. Find Common Ground (Talk about something you have in common. Even if it's just the awkwardness, bc it's hard for everyone out here! Embrace it and laugh about it together!) 3. Listen (Make eye contact & take the time to make him feel heard/understood. Everyone wants that connection!) 4. If you don't know what to say next: Repeat a simpler version of their last statement *it proves you were listening* and close it with your own opinion or compliment on the original statement. (It comes off as genuine, engaging and intelligent) 5. Relax your shoulders, let your face settle into a softer smile/attentive expression (the point is to just loosen up and not look frozen. A huge smile and uncontrollable laugh is NOT going to communicate confidence.) Practice meeting safe-looking strangers at work or wherever you go. If it bombs, you probably won't ever see them again, there's nothing to lose! Try it with anyone & you'll build real friendships & confidence, and yes, it is proven 100% successful on single men!

At 1:20 Brett perfectly describes why young women have turned Dylan Mulvaney into some kind of weird goddess. Not just social media influencers, but young women in the business world who head corporate marketing departments. It finally stopped with Bud Light, a product consumed largely by men. Men give weirdos like Mulvaney the side eye and back away. But young women turn into simping fools.

Think about what game is for guys. It's men showing off the parts of themselves women would like most(i.e. charisma, leadership, confidence and the ability to protect) For women it's the same. Just wear a nice dress, be genuine and kind. As long as you show genuine interest and are nice to look at you'll be fine. Also knowing how to make a good meatloaf is a plus.

I grew up with my grandparents because of family related stuff, so I have very traditional thinking and beliefs. Went to Highschool in a more city like area rather than an old people town when I was 14. HUGE shock, felt like I was in a whole other country. No USA flags but a whole bunch of pride flags, TBH, I thought the LGBT thing was a joke. It just felt so wrong knowing that this cute chick could be a man. but now with more 'modern' dating and 'rizz'. it makes it so hard for me to date anybody because it seems like traditional is a red flag to most people these days. Did a fucking spit take when she said, "you can call me mommy."

Actually, when the guy said "now I'm the one doing the rizzing" or whatever it was, my reaction was that at last one of the girls did it right. I would have put her on top. Even the defensive stance was right. She did something to be noticed and to show that she was potentially interested, but the defensive stance said she was not sold yet and not that easy to get. And she gave the guy the opportunity to show his wares and feel like he was the one doing the hunting. Whether she intended to do this or not, this is what female rizz is.

Sadly this is the result of women being allowed to get away with minimal/nonexistent effort when trying to court someone they're interested in; expecting & getting accustomed to men falling at their feet (and being able to easy replace those who don't) has made it way too easy for them because they've had control over virtually every aspect of the dating scene. They've never needed to be interesting/sell themselves (unless it's OF), so they never had to develop "game", "rizz" or whatever you want to call it. Edit: I'm not saying women are inherently boring (obviously that's not true), I'm saying they've never _had to be_ interesting/it's a long time (if ever) since they've needed to be. It's a smaller scale version of how society has become lazier since the advent of cars & technological advancements, which have given us the easy life & saved us a lot of effort in a lot of places.

I like casual and chill most, cuz I'm like that. I don't push a girl too hard to go out with me. I don't cat call of course. If member of the female sex is kind and caring, add in jokes + sarcasm, while being obviously interested in me, I would be very interested in her.

What I've just realised is that rizz isn't just an abbreviation of the word 'charisma' - which is defined as "compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion/loyalty in others." Meanwhile rizz usually refers to using pickup lines etc to flirt. Ironically, someone with charisma doesn't need to use pickup lines & those who use pickup lines usually lack charisma.
