I heard a story of an eagle attack in the philippines before. My uncle told me about this. He was with a vet looking out for Philippine eagle to check their numbers or tags. One vet accidentally stumbled upon an eagle trying to capture a monkey that was headed to him, the monkey run under him then they eagle tried gauging his face. Luckily they already have their tranquilize gun ready, so they shot the eagle to stop it from attacking. Luckily the eagle was fine but the guy got deep wounds in his arms and chest so he was sent to the closest hospital

I used to feed a family of Maya when I was a kid I would collect bugs and beetles toss them in the air and a Maya would swoop down and catch them. And did you know that Maya despite their size can fight off crows and ravens.

Hahaha....the bald eagle looking ferocious intimidating the PH eagle in the pic lol....but hey I know how badass that Haribon is (king of birds) that thing attacked me twice....one in captivity i didnt know it had a long reach I was taking a picture of them in a cage was stupid of me to think I was on safe distance the beak lacerated my arm and followed by its claw that nearly got me....gave me a badass look badder than that of the bald eagle. Another time was when I was strolling down the beach and it glided over my head I felt the strong wind of its wing span....it was majestic but my balls went up my throat I thought I was dead....maybe it thought Im a bigger prey to handle......comparing it to the bald eagle the haribon has a groovier hair style lol.

Not even to mention that there are several raptors that have a mostly avivorous diet. So yeah, raptors couldn't care less about the fact that they're eating another bird, just as much as a shark wouldn't be bothered about eating another fish :V

the american eagle isnt an eagle, in fact, it doesnt even belong to that genre...its actually a glorified seagull, but compare it also to the aussie wedge tailed eagle

Hahaha. Im from the Philippines and I agree that the Bald eagle looks badass in the first clip. The Philippines eagle looks like "What the hell am I doing here?" nyahaha. 🤣 Dont let them fight and hope we help them breed to repopulate. Phil eagle is as well near extinction. Good content guys. Liked and subs. 👍

I personally yes I saw it. However they're closer to extinction, so sad because they can produce only one egg every two years. But they're stick to one they're loyal to one another.

i've seen that 2 species and what it said about the size is a little bit not accurate because bald eagle is just 3/4 the size of Philippines Eagle...I'm from the Philippines when i was just a kid we had a Philippines Eagle in captivity that we took care and now I'm leaving here in canada where the bald eagle is abondantly living with people while we are fishing they are diving for a fish too....

My father took care of a baby eagle once.. it was in our backyard for years and it grew to an unmanageable size. Man it used to stand on my arm and the talon's are painful already. It's scary when it opens its wings because the difference in size. Father had to release it cause he couldn't feed anymore, its diet requires a lot more.

What makes Philippine Eagle rare is that they only have one mate all their life, if that mate dies, it's hard to find another mate. And they only lay 1-2 eggs per year
