Mr Gary V started on his teens way back inthe early 80's as a pop & ballad singer. He's known as Mr energy. Dance moves like Micheal J... I'm glad you're also a jazz lover. My greatest influence was my father. Started with Frank Sinatra & the likes. Now I mostly listen to Fourplay, yellow jackets & the likes. On personal note...always love your professional reactions. He's definitely personable and humorous. A faithful and humble man to be sure. He loves music and creates/sings great songs (though about half of his composed songs and albums are more on gospel). I don't mind if he's not the most impressive voice in the industry, his heart is always in his songs and performances and it communicates to the listeners' heart. That for me is a gift that can never be learned technically that's why he's an artist that is so dear to me. And all-out performer. He's a good mentor, manager and producer to many Filipino artists (both big and starting). Katrina Velarde was one whom he discovered back when she wasn't famous and has small exposure to mainstream media. She worked as one of his backup singers. So when Katrina made it big and got concerts of her own, Gary occasionally graces the stage as guest artist and performs with her. As for the instruments, he knows piano, drums and wide range of percussions - Harmonica, marimba, chimes and usually congas on his concerts where he dances along while playing it. Dancing. Almost never not dancing lol good thing his energy is almost always full. That wish performance is understandable. I'm even more surprised he didn't stand up mid performance to dance 😂
