@@muhammadmafaz8530 It doesn't cause many problems unless you're way too shy. Shyness is not equal to introversion. So, if you're really shy, you may face challenges in promotion. However, if you're minding your business and greeting the client properly, it doesn't matter whether you're introverted or extroverted. Trust me, introverts carefully choose their words before clients, unlike extroverts who may sometimes say something they might regret later, causing problems in promotion. It also depends on the nature of jobs; for instance, sales jobs are not very suitable for introverts, but introverts excel in finance, accounting, data science, programming, etc.

you gotta be tough. dont be a weak introvert. be a strong introvert. you be the one doing the bullying and pushing and the mistreating if you feel someone is stepping on your toes. you gotta stand up for yourself. being introverted doesnt automatically mean you're gonna get bullied, it also depends on your demeanor. you are probably are an easy target. (no offense) im an introvert but im not timid in the way i speak or the way i present and carry myself so this right away closes any door to anyone who even thought about trying to bully me into some submission or anything. im also really stubborn and dish things out when necessary. be cunning and ruthless if necessary. talk to them, get information out of them as you say little about yourself, this way it will be easier to control and bully the situation now that you have information on them and they have nothing on you. always be steps ahead of them. if you feel like anyone is about to undermine you depending on how they are starting to treat you, make sure you always have a backup plan. present yourself as a respectful person always, and seek out those who are a bit like you to make a group of like minded people root for you if things are about to hit the fan that way the blow wont be as hard as they anticipated. the more people you get to have on your side, the less likely anyone will undermine, bully or mistreat you. for example, you can be a quiet type personality/introverted, but talk to people on a 1 on 1 level, get to know them. be respectful to the point where if they talk bad about you they would feel bad about themselves or if they hear someone talking bad about you they can say things like "idk, that guy/girl seems to be a pretty cool/decent person to me". you can have such reputation and be a solid introverted quiet person. it all comes down to how you carry yourself. i hardly have any problems with anyone because im always a respectful person and i try to be as real as i can as possible. my judgement isnt too bad and im okay at reading people so i tend to always avoid those who i know are fake and full of it and keep those who are friendly, nice, respectful and authentic closer to me. keep the fake at a distant, just close enough to see how they think so you can really know what to expect from them. usually those who want to give you problems have already gave others problems so they will eventually weed themselves out. just be real, cool, respectful always, caring and authentic. but be hard and assertive. you got this. see it as a battlefield and you must observe the field and the people on it, coordinate yourself and how you are going to maneuver within the battlefield before you even start doing it. listen to those who like to talk mumbo jumbo all the time, they reveal a lot about themselves. always be sharp. the world is ruthless so you have to become more ruthless..

Also the point you said is correct, we should atleast respond to the feedbacks especially if its negative and correct that, but again I remained silent in those situations which made them think, I dont know my work and whats going on in the company. However, I learnt my mistakes later and changed my attitude when I joined a new company. And this video made me realize that's a common problem and its not any mind game or part of politics. Carry on being silent nothing wrong with that as long as your work is good thats all that matters and nothing wrong with being introverted either. There are lots of toxic workplaces with manager's that dont appreciate the work you do but they have got a lot to learn. You are just as good as anybody else if not better.

Guys!! don't try change yourselves just because if some people are not able to understand your worth and don't feel bad if you are introvert or shy just know this that you are amazing , knowledge has its own language , when you have knowledge and understanding of something, it can speak by its own and always remember action are louder than word . In this world extrovert people always try to make you feel that they are ahead of you , because they scares of your potential , even they know that introverts are so much talented and passionated for their work . Most of the richest people are in this world were introvert and shy and look now where they are , elon musk is one the Biggest example. Just remember knowledge , learning and hardwork is important , no matter weather you are introvert, extrovert or shy .

Now currently i am managing a team of 15 sales executives in "dalmia cement"..

Personally speaking nothing wrong with what you advise to the silent worker. But I still feel that we haven't come out of school kid approach who is always willing to show his work ( if he has done it on time) to his class teacher and get applaud. But as we grew up we left that habit and thought that the intelligent world up there in the organizations, companies, workplaces, would have much bigger eyes to notice silent workers...and not just take sides with the one who chatters and takes lead in talking. Also that's not justice done by people if we are doing it knowingly. Also it shows lot of shallowness on the part of company that they know there are more hard working people, and still they go with the unconscious bias. See we will continue to do what we have been doing and nothing new will come up that way. Its time companies and workplaces, open their eyes and create a culture where everyone wants to talk and shows to work willingly, specially on Mondays. We don't talk of that. I think it is time that we rengieneer the workplaces. Don't you?

Hi, I have the following problem. I have no issue when it comes to speaking/talking about work related things, or even giving a presentation, but my main problem is "small talk" or gossip, as we call it. I can talk for hours about things related to the work I am doing, but go completely silent when I am have to talk anything else for eg sports, politics movies, etc. Being an introvert, this has always been difficult for me. I also like to eat lunch alone which infuriates my team members who all eat together. Like I do not understand why you need to be together even while eating. The work that I do is quite difficult so I would like to devote all my mental energy to that, and thus I need time alone to decompress and get ready for the second half of the day. People in office say I need to open up more and gossip with them to lighten the mood. Can you please give advice regarding this issue? And do you think that not engaging in small talk will affect my overall growth/career in any way?

The reason being when I used to give 110% NOTHING came of it thus job hopping it was always the same. Especially when you KNOW you've been the best at what you do and STILL get layed off due to a company cuts. Nowadays I ONLY GIVE 40-60% of effort to my job and I try to be silent and not give a fuck. Let's be honest we only work for a paycheck. Unless you hold a high level position, your "job" is pointless unless ypur a doctor. Hi, Nice video 👌 I feel that the capacity to do the work and the work getting done is more important than explaining it or highlighting it once done. Coz eventually if the work is not done, everything else gets queued up and has no meaning.... So it's better to develop our technical skills ( role for which we got hired) - automatically it will get him recognised Despite of being silent- if nobody else ( the so called talkative people) knows the subject better - obviously the silent person who did the work has to speak up. He will in such case, and in turn would receive the recognition.

Get the job, do a good job for 3 to 6 months, write a letter to Vice President where you demand 3 things: 1)20% Salary Raise. 2)Change in Title 3)Office Space request. I always get 2 out 3. Then I go silent again. Later, Jump to another company and apply it again. We the silent people have the Real knowledge of the work. Take the knowledge with you and exploded in your favor.

I myself am a corporate trainer in IT and related sector for over two decades, and have consulted also in many projects. I have typically seen that the finest programmers are the most silent. Unless you directly ask them, they will not speak up. When I call them to the board to explain something, they do an impeccable job. Others will ask me so many questions, but they won't. One very important thing you did not cover and which I tell them specially freshers, that if they do not speak up, it's not them but the organisation suffers the most because the finest ones are rendered unusable. I myself had had this problem while consulting a project. The people who were projected to me as the most efficient produced nothing but a warm pile of you know what. As you rightly said in the first part that 75% of the job will go to the vocal employee, but he/she can't perform causing frustration for the client as well as their own managers.

i am a silent worker, but my job consist of mostly routine maintenance. on the side i am the only one that would try to repair electric stuff so that is my niche. i do also occasionally get to do "difficult" or more "creative" stuff but i never expect any compliment or extra, the only satisfaction comes if i meet my standards of how i'm executing the thing. of course i like to get paid, but but since the contract is a collective one, one cannot negotiate his pay on his own or a raise like you would do in the united states or maybe another "normal" job. it's basically "this is the pay for your role" does not matter if you are more or less capable of your average co-worker. the only way to get an higher minimum salary is apply for an "internal competition" and you get an higher role, but more responsibilities arise for very little money in return so isn't worth in my opinion.

HRs / Recruiters are inhumane. Don't we sometime think like that? How? How can they post job openings mentioning the below pointers : *Should be ready to work in 24x7 rotating shifts environment *Should be willing to work on weekends *Should be comfortable with night shifts *Should be comfortable with frequent shift rotation. Doesn't these very points disrupt the work life balance, plays with personal time and health of employee? HRs are well educated human beings and I really wonder how can they go this opposite lane. A normal human/employee will not be able to deliver the service being in these inhumane work conditions for a long time. The employee could join and soon leave the company due to health issues. I love when HRs mention timing of the shift in the job postings like *It will be a 2pm to 11pm shift Mon-Fri I feel HRs/Recruiters should focus on fixing a shift time and utilize employee in that particular shift time. What's your opinion folks? hashtag#job hashtag#hiring hashtag#HR hashtag#HumanResources

A person who works quietly/silently in any company until he retires, on the contrary, a person who moves forward/vocal gets to work in that company for a few years because the workload of that person increases to such an extent that he gets bored and quits the job. So, it is always better to work in peace/silent.

Well, its not about who speaks and who stays quiet. It’s about mastering the art of timing. It’s knowing when to strike like a cobra and when to stay as still as a cat in the shadows. Speak too soon, and you're just another voice in the crowd, but stay silent for too long, and you’re just the furniture in the room. The real question isn’t whether you’re loud or quiet, but whether you know the secret of perfect timing.

I believe it's primarily about effective communication rather than simply speaking or remaining silent. Failing to communicate results in presenting oneself differently from the intended understanding by those around you. By the way, the type of manager you've described is highly toxic. People should prioritize work rather than dwelling excessively on such matters. Especially in India, there are many incompetent or ineffective HR professionals, or the HR department itself may be rendered redundant due to choices made by higher-ups. It is the manager's responsibility to comprehend their subordinates and grasp their modes of communication. If a manager solely prioritizes vocal employees, it's detrimental.

Yes..I admit it…yes..this is true..but who stupid enough to believe, to trust the fake news, the gossip…now 2024..people still believe that without asking the person????...how shame ..so lame…. 04:15 Paid Less.. Yes..correct…manager assume???..is it okay if staff assumes manager?..cannot right..so that’s why need to meet face to face…ask 1 to 1..atleast once a year…it would be thankful if they listen to us..how about if they listen and do nothing???wasting time…trust me..once u get increment..u will asked to do EVERYTHING…brah..10$,20$ increments doesn’t means to work like animal, robot..so careful 05:40 Don’t Get big opportunities.. More opportunities, more job and more time u have to spend regarding work, more people u will face over, more client u have to meet up..more stressful, more dislikes from people down there ( ordinary people/ staff)…listen..WORK SMART, NOT WORK HARD… and as you highlight here..please talk and show leadership…nah..company will “sorry our company no budget”..hahaha… 07:12 Speaking problem… For me..nah…im okay with speaking…the problem is..they do nothing when I speak..hahha..lOl..wasting time right…the second problem is..some company..we have to say Right for WRONG things for company sake...sorry..cannot acting..whatever u big boss, manager,,if wrong..is wrong..right is right… 09:17 Manager Assume staff okay.. Come on..now 2024…still got assuming problem?..why don’t you get your fat ass and ask by yourself….stop listening the fake news, gossip from others…for the feedback..nah…I don’t take quietly…I will spread slowly…. For those jobseekers Hope you will find suitable job, respectful staff & bosses and permanent&stable #WORKHARDNOTWORKSMART

Its a sad truth that opportunities slip from our hands because of a small behavioral aspect, but only we can win over it... see if you can make a change in existing scenario if nothing works out, resign only when you have another offer in hand.. all the best!!

Its like telling the birds to swim, telling the grass they have no importance since they dont have fruits or dont look like trees. Its better Bosses and HR's GROW UP and learn to utilize the full potential of introverts. Just like birds can take a overlook of things , and grasses have unmatched wide spread beauty in themselves, introverts too can bring great things on the table only if they feel safe. You can call it a loophole in society, but yes ,not all talking people are good people, neither wise, there needs to be someone to strike a balance for greater good, Its Also HUMAN NATURE gods given.

But our work and its quality is speaking for itself..isn't it ? If doubt they can ask us. Or should we still go back and forth to their cabin showing the works.thank you

Dear, its not about going back and forth to someone's cabin, its about speaking when its your time to speak, when its required... this is just to tell you that do not let your fears and doubts hold you back when you really want to speak...

Agree with you points but explain me this, if the employee has to speak up for growth every opportunity he/she gets, then why do companies have annual/mid-year reviews? If the manager cannot identify the potential and the growth path for this team then the failure is on the manager, not the silent employee. It is not a bad thing to be introvert. Infact, introverts are most intelligent people anyone can find. In my experience I have seen people getting promoted who kept wagging their tail to their managers but I have also seen that those people often fuck up on the new position. Bakchodi se kaam nahi hota sirf promotion milta he. If your company does not give a shit about you just because you are silent then you should look for a good company. There are companies who gives promotion on merit and not chatugiri. Please work for those company. What you are trying to say will only create a company full of dumb fucks. Action will always speak louder than words!

100% correct brother, my elder bhai used to work for a company, there was lots of office politics and favourism, so he left and has now joined a better company.

I am a bit introvert, but used to ask doubts, speak for myself, but team leader disliked that, also taunted me, and did favoritism, but i remained calm and patient , did my job, spoke about the concerns as well which made them see me as rebellious man, and i was not given qa duties, and also they once threatened me to escalate the matter to manager, upon my probation complete, i said ok, and then manager calmed my team leader, and after 15 to 20 days , i made a switch in next company by god grace, where people are fine .

Every introvert have probably met someone (other than office) who is not less than a killer which made an introvert an introvert. No one wants or no one becomes silent and stops fighting for their right without got traumatized. Every introvert has a story behind them. They have met a demon that these extriverties didn't meet. And that demon sucked their confidence. N made their personality like this. People dont speak for their rights when they haven't get heard in past so they are afraid wht if they dont get heard again so whats the point of speaking up. Eveeyone has a life apart from this small corporate world and that world is full of bullshit oeople.

It's all true and unfortunate.... silent people are actually more creative most of the time, they are more cooperative and possibly more ethical, out of the rat race of having more and more, and yet they suffer because "jo dikhta hai, wo bikta hai"..... It's basically a manager's job to understand who is doing what but since they fail to do so in a organized way, they go by who is holding the banner...

I cannot fully agree what you said because there is also a situation where managers and HR people feel very annoyed over so many employees wanting to say something which is not very relevant(which they do to maintain communication), so managers play a role of typical always rude boss. Also the biggest problem i see in work place is whenever you give a feedback to someone, they give a counter argument which undermines your feedback and eventually people don't give feedbacks anymore. But after all we should work on our strength and weakness, someone in management with top networth in a company must have skills to see who is good and who is bad at work, and a smart introvert can learn to transition from job to solopreneur/freelancer which is much better career option. In my company, management is pretty much frustrated and cannot figure out solutions to there problems but all they need to do is to just be openminded and learn to see what real problem is. if not then have infrastructure and environment to investigate real problem.
