The first was radiation fog which allowed a 5 mile visibility out of Van Nuys Airport. The second was the sea fog also known as Marine Layer that occurred within the Calabasas Gap. As the residence who lived inside of the gap, while interviewed stated it was the worse Marine Layer fog they've witnessed, and these where people who had residence there for 10-20 years. It was a combination of not so great things happening within a particular window that this time around led to the death of multiple people riding in a helicopter. 7:33 This man has practice down to a science. Custom routines based on team defensive schemes. Effing legendary. Definitely one of the most if not the most cerebral players of all time.

It's really sad that some of Kobe's best years were wasted on teams anchored by the likes of Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, and Luke Walton.

Most cerebral basketball player I’ve ever heard speak. I don’t even recall MJ explaining in detail this much preparation. He should call games. His insight would do for the NBA what Romo is doing for the NFL

He is the goat, dude. He won't deminish his icon by becoming a commentator. These accomplished men have the same ego going on. All they know and care for is the ultimate position. Nothing less.

i don't think Jordan needed as much preparation tbh. Recall that Jordan dropped 63 against the Celtics in the playoffs after being out almost an entire season and playing on a minutes restriction in the regular season. Then he dropped 55 on the Knicks after coming back from retirement and not playing ball for 1.5 years! Jordan was naturally gifted at basketball, just like some kids are naturally gifted in certain subjects in school. Others have to work harder to attain a similar level of excellence. Kobe worked harder than everyone and attained great success.

@j t sleep is relative to the individual and their circadian rhythm. Some people can get all the REM they need in four hours, some need twelve. I'm tired of people thinking their intelligent just because they know old adages like "you need 8 hours of sleep a night." Sleep science is far more nuanced than public opinion
