I am so excited for this MAL! I have some yarn that was gifted to me when my dog died at the end of April, it was a loving and thoughtful gift intended to make me smile - and it worked. It is a four pack of fingering weight yarn in different shades of purple. This make along is coming at a good time because my aunt passed away unexpectedly Thursday night and I am a sad sack right now. The yarn is special to me. I am going to make the Just Feel Better Shawl. The timing is right.

When Noah smiled at the end, he looked so much like Nova's smile. I think those beads are called Perler beads. Another childhood classic. My grandson was playing with Lincoln Logs . I had a set 57 years ago. Good to see that some toys survive. Lots of progress on wips considering your elbow. The doctor could have called your injury dryer elbow. Wounded by your household appliance.😊

Your memories blanket is so pretty. Oftentimes, those type blankets don't seem to flow right IMO, but I love yours. It mimics quilting and goes together well. Noah is such a cutie lol.

Ooh, so sorry your elbow is still acting up - hoping for a continued recovery. Wonderful makes - take your time, you don't want to strain 😊 Thank you for inspiring me with the special to me yarn MAL. My daughter brought me some Dale Garn fingering mohair, wool & polymid yarn in 2 colors - gray & maroon, from Norway that I've been saving. I then found some cotton cashmere dk yarn from my LYS in coordinating colors that I'm going to pair it with. I'm thinking of making daisy squares for a throw. Baby Noah is adorable! Hugs!

The stamps peel & stick onto acrylic blocks. It saves space if you stamp for card making. They are typically made of silicon.

You can re-melt your bead dolphin that you made with Nova and hot glue a magnet on the back (you could also just hot glue his tail back on too). Then it could be a magnet and it would last a little longer 😉

I have this yarn by Loops and threads. It’s called facets. Almost like the Noro yarn but cheaper. Its color is “spectrum “ and perfect autumn colors. I’ve been wanting to make a shawl for the coming cold months and I love a challenge because I get bored easy with patterns. So I picked “the spring shawl” by Adriana M. This is my first crochet along ever! ❤

Neighborhood Fiber Co. dyed a special edition "Michelle Obama" colorway in 2020. I need to use that. It's so pretty and deserves to be worked up. I also have some white mohair...maybe I'll do the Cirrus shawl, too, that would be so pretty.

Hi Hannah...I'm not part of Ravelry but I would like to enter, will it work if I give the info in here, although won'tbe able to post pictures? I have 2 hanks of yarn that I got earlier this month from The Yarn Byrd truck "Birdie", when at the Michigan Fiber Festival. The reason we got them was because of the whole experience of our first time at a fiber festival, our first time on Yarn Trucks & because they were named after astrological signs so had to get mine & Mr. Boyfriends. He and I talked about this MAL as well as what we'd like to make from this special, as well as hand dyed, yarn and since it's not a colorway he'd be likely to wear a wearable out of & we got it so we can make something for both of us to use, we decided that we would like it to be part of a blanket for ourselves, likely a lapghan, but what I'll do is hold both strands together (fingering weight individually) and will go thru my extensive hand dyed stash to find colorways to work with it as well as contrasting and/or bright colors for the border. I'm really excited about this MAL, thanks for creating it, but am hoping I'll be able to finish it by the end of, oh wait, did you say Nov or Oct? Well with as many craft shows I have planned I'm still hoping but keeping fi gers crossed that I will. All of your makes are awesome & just saying he has the most precious smile! Have a great night!

Elbow - I had the same thing as you and ended up having to go to PT for it after 6 months of doing the Dr. recommended exercises. They used something like ultrasound therapy on it which REALLY helped. Might that be an option? I have some ideas for my fancy yarn - I have a couple of skeins of Yak-silk lace from Expression Fiber Arts that I am dying to use, but I don't what to do with it. I have never used lace weight yarn before. Or I have 3 skeins of Reef DK yarn by Sea Turtle Fiber Arts. Not enough for a top, so I have been holding on to them trying to find the right project.
