Something to be aware of: during the war council you can change positioning of all officers except the ruler. This done during the choose invasion target stage. Just press start. I'm assuming your character has to have the proper rank as well to do it. This is very handy because you don't have to waste a month's action to do it.

@@phantomvulpe791 Yes tactician as well it seems both are equal. From many clears so far i assume if your reputation is based on brave the ruler promotes you to grand general n tactician if its ingenius.

Something I recently found out is that you can move your officers for free during a war counsil. On the screen where you select a goal, like sabotage. You can press the ‘start or options’ button. This saves me a so many wasted turns and deal with vagrant forces easier on Chaos! I thought I also post it here since a lot of people don’t know this.

When picking the policy, what does the blue star near the Merits earned mean? Also on the top right of the screen what does the smiley face represent?

I believe the stars show you that an officer is recommending it. So you'd earn extra. The smile is saying your good natured, if it's sad. Your bad

For the best start if you don't care about amount of turns or being 4 or 5 levels lower than enemy generals: Before you start a vagrant force use fundraise and procure rations 11x each to get the titles Hero veteran and great commander. Recruit 7 generals before you invade your first area your new title and rep will help. After getting your own kingdom don't invade right away, use trade 11 times I think🤔 to gain the rest of the titles for RepLV.5 Once you have your first 3 or 4 areas, max their development preferably max them as you attain them. You should be stacked by this point best start complete 👌🏾 Tips, Have a banquet after every invasion to increase the companionship of new officers you may have recruited by 1Lv The right corners of the map are for strategic players (more angles to be attacked from requiring more methodical playstyle) the left corners are for beginner armchair generals (top left corner 2 lanes to defend bottom has 3) Place 8 officers in areas next to enemies to avoid invasion or greatly lower the chances of vagrant forces emerging unless the enemy ruler grand general or tactician are there with matching troop numbers

To invade you just need rations for army and of course soldiers for officers.

That's something I don't hear everyday as DW9 Empires is hated by many.xD I like it though. Haven't tested Elden Ring so can't say anything about the quality of that game.=D

Hey bro I have 9 territories and 91 generals , 20730 Gold , Rations 6450 my kingdom Gold is in the Red -1050 and Mr Rations are in the -600 I did not do all the agriculture and commercial Development and I started to do both developments in all the territories but I can't keep enough Rations and the cities aren't producing what should I do should I get rid of some of my Generals cause right now I'm stuck killing animals and Bandits for Rations and Gold tell me how can I fix this

Yeah unfortunately building a kingdom is best done slowly. I'd fire was low officers and for now. Do some great trades if you have that option open. Then do developments when you can

It’s easy to siege tons of territories and take them, but it’s will be too much thing for you to do later. So it’s the best to develop your first territory first, one it’s solid enough, then start to take another and develop that one. One fully developed territory can feed up to 9 or 10 Officers. So maintaining 9 officers per territory is the best solution, capturing those generic officers at first to fill in the numbers, you can always change them with mushou officers later.
