Having divorced parents who got stationed in multiple in different places gave me a pretty cool experience growing up. I've been to almost every state in the US and have lived in multiple states twice. I think growing up in the same place only to stay there your whole life sounds boring, plus traveling opens you up to new cultures.

I would also recommend finding a way to do a long drive across the western half of the country. My favorite highway is Steens Mountain Highway in southeastern Oregon, just make sure the weather is good.

Rural US is culturally similar depending on the region. Urban and mountain town Colorado are significantly different than the rest of Colorado. I still drink kombucha and visit a yearly New Age festival though because nothing is 100%.

Well they are stereotypes for a reason. I’m from PA and while Amish people are a common occurrence, that’s mostly the interior of the state where they’re most common. Man completely overlooked Western and Eastern PA entirely which are completely different from the interior but that’s also not the point of the video.
