I have the Gan 14 Maglev Pro and I think it is great. I have got a few great solves with it. I love how good the cube's cornercutting is.

I have the GAN 14 MagLev Pro and it's really good for my weak fingers. I perform finger tricks much better on this cube. (SUB8 Solver here) My setup: 2- top ring 5- gear at the bottom Max magnets for both corners and edges. I just noticed that the Cubicle team don't really like light-turning cubes. They always put control lubes on their GAN cubes. I don't put any control lube. I prefer fast cubes that don't give you finger fatigue.

I do left index finger push for U moves (clockwise) and left ring finger push for D' like what u do with E-Perm. It's easier to do on Cubes like the GAN 14 pro, because it auto-aligns well, and turning is very light and effortless.

I like the idea of the center remover as someone with basically no nails from nervous biting but it becoming necessary to have with you to pop the cap off is quite a tradeoff..

I have the GAN14 PRO. I agree that it's really fast. But I like that feel and it's so satisfying to turn. It also has the best Auto-alignment I've seen on a cube, maybe Super Weilong would be 2nd. I also think TheCubicle don't adjust their turning style. You have to turn differently when using GAN vs Moyu or other brands. It's just so much satistying to turn fast cubes. You won't feel sore after long periods of practice.

I have it too. The magnetic pull is incredible. It self aligns on literally any angle (if set to max magnet strength) it just refuses to mis-align. I perform well on it.

I’m thinking of getting the 14 or 14 pro, but haven’t decided which one to go for. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. In terms of auto-alignment, I found the wrm v9 to have the best (on factory settings, out of the box). Or maybe the GAN 12 maglev. I haven’t tried the GAN 13 or 14 yet. The super weilong has weaker magnets than the wrm v9, so didn’t auto align quite as well, but definitely still up there as one of the best. And overall I usually perform slightly better on the super weilong compared to the v9. Gonna pick up a v10 too and see how that is. Have heard it’s a completely different cube.

the main issue is that GAN tries to increase customisation features instead of improving on their previous flagship,the 14 could have been a lot popular if they just improved on the 12.if you look at MOYU,they try to improve on their previous cubes,thats why they are so popular -same with X-MAN,they simply improved on the tornado v2 and thats why the Tornado v3 became so popular(they just improved on the corner cutting and simplified adjustment for compression and center travel) -last point:if GAN really wants to increase customisation,make sure that atleast 70% of the settings are good,no one wants 1296 options,also this cube proves that maglev tech is not better,and the tornado flagship just proves it,and i think springs are better than maglev(subjective opinion)

You can't make a majority of the combinations "good". The settings are independent of eachother. People like their cubes differently, and it makes no sense to just add the "good" combinations, because then you're heavily restricting people from fine tuning their own cubes. I think the 14's system is actually a pretty good idea. And also, not everyone likes the Tornado. Personally I think the flagship is way too slow.

I really love the honesty of these guys. Some "improvements" end up being a disfavor, gan has been doing fails releases like gan 14 capsule, megaminx maglev which is really not as good as Dayan pro and is way more expensive.. looks like now they are only concerned in profits.

I don’t know how to feel about this. Usually when I see all these fancy new cubes I really get excited, but this feels different. I’ve got a RS3M 2022 or something and think i’d actually prefer that than these ones with the funky center caps, complex designs etc

The issue with my GAN 14 is that the center caps keeps popping even when I’m not doing any fast movements, just normal scrambling pops the center caps off so the longer center cap prongs really help

Actually yes the center caps were a tad bit necessary. The old ones were very fragile and my friend broke one in the first day of him having it. Did they need to make the cap pieces longer? No, but they could have made them wider and a bit thicker.

I wouldn't be surprised if what's happening is that the tolerance has increased. If you take out a corner, edge, corner, stack them together and use calipers to measure, what's the width of those pieces?

I have no problem with wanting to make it easier to remove the caps, I just find it baffling that they’ve made it impossible to NOT use the tool. They’ve removed a core function that has been on basically every cube in existence. They could have just added a little flat pry tool or something. This seems entirely unnecessary.

I used the 11 pro for ages as my main, loved it, my second was the tornado v2, liked the smoothness of it but didnt like the feel as much. Just recently bought the 14 and the tornado v3. Tornado v3, pioneer, and the v3 is my new main. Better ans much cheaper.

Why don't they just add more features to the Gan 12. Everybody already loves that cube, so if they made more features on it people are more likely to buy it. Like my Gan 12 UI feels better than the thirteen, and its a smart cube. I just feel like that would make sense.

The fact that the cubicle already has to knock this down 30% right after it released kind of tells the story. And I buy from The Cubicle because they're as honest as they come. Completely trustworthy. So the case holds the tools in a wonderful package... but you can't get to the adjustments under the caps without a big tool that won't fit in the case...or the caps break. This is so, so stupid. I haven't liked GAN's flagships since the 12 (I like the 12 fine, but the 11 was peak GAN). 13 was garbage. 14 was garbage. They somehow made the 14 WORSE with this new release. Their new Mega has great internals, but the color options are garbage. Forced to use their way-too-light cream color side that's too close to their white, doesn't come with replacement sides or even have the option to buy for customization like Dayan or Yuhu. Their new 5x5 is not bad, but the AoChang M and X-Man Hong perform better for less $. Though it's funny to see GAN have to go back to normal Philips head bolts instead of some proprietary thing that needs a one-time-use tool that'll be lost and then you can't adjust you puzzle ever again. Everyone is excited for their SQ-1 to premier, but I'm not liking the current trend. Their 2x2's are all that's left that make me want to main them in an event. I used to be a GAN fanboy and now I can't stand them.

Just so you're aware, it's starting to become a standard (at least from what I've seen) that when Chinese companies send a product early, they review the video. Generally it's just to make sure you aren't saying anything bad about the company, and they may ask you to remove certain parts if they feel it may hurt their brand image.

You will just have to change ur turning style and use heavy lube to slow it. It's incredibly fast, that just makes it hard to control. It depends what times you are getting rn. Maybe you can send it back if you want?

turn lighter. If you struggle u should practice turning light with pll and incrementally increasing the speed without putting much more force with your fingers. A trick u could use is to use both hands to do a R or L move, so if u are doing a R', u move your left hand up like ur going to do a L' while doing the R' , this is to spread the force from one hand, more evenly into two hands.
