This was the first Cure song I heard, think I was 13 or so. Loved it and have loved Cure ever since. What strikes me now is how well executed the song was, the arrangement, the use of so many musicians (cellist, trumpets, violins) and not just the usual guitar keyboard and drums. I mean the song was basically a lark yet there's an underlying level of quality that the band couldn't bring itself to fall below. Today this seems astonishing.

Try Tamino, Leprous, or Steven Wilson's music. Pretty much all the best music these days isn't in the Charts, or on TV. 😉

Dont give them ammunition. just go out and seek the kinda music you like. Music is too far spread nowadays to say "i wish music was still like this"

You wait until you discover Linkin park..Chester Bennington...The band are finished with our Chester...Trust me you want to see Real emotion, Heartbreak, Watch and Listen to the story of the God of music...Even though he’s Passed, it is pure and Real , When Chester bangs out a raw Song, You will see the heart breaking honesty of his words...I think you should love it...He’s the best ever...❤🙏🍒

The beautiful young Rob Smith is a sweet cool cat ! The song a little bit jazzy, sense of humor. Was recording in Paris (France). We still love you The CURE. I ❤ you Robert Smith ❤🎉

Do they prick up their ears at the high guitar sounds? Love the way it changes key suddenly and unexpectedly for that end bit as well.
