Sorry guys you got it a bit wrong.... it wasn't zods beacon that triggered darkseid and steppenwolf it was lex Luthor who "rang that bell" in batman v superman..... there is also an additional scene of luthor with steppenwolf in the ships display...

Also, when Alfred says the word Hope at the end of the trailer, he looks down and nods at something that I assume is chest height on Superman. Man of Steel, "It's not an S, it's a symbol of Hope".

Cool bros. That secret character could be the Martial Manhunter. The villain did say many worlds were destroyed. Jon Jones's world is destroyed. Lex Luther probably knew his secret identity since he is able to shape shift and batman probably found that out too.

This is Demond from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I really sat back and listened to both of your theories concerning the Easter eggs and the whole implementation of past events and movies. The Man of Steel reference concerning the beacon idea is very much on point. Who was Steppenwolf talking to when he was telling them "no lanterns" was on point. I honestly believe that seeing as how he is one of Darkseid's generals, it would make sense that that is the person he is talking to. Guy Gardner is really too much of an asshole to have on the team at this point-his ego would fuck things up too much and he would never listen to anyone. It could be Supergirl that Alfred was telling that he hopes they're not too late because it would make sense for someone like Batman to know about her and spit something in her ear concerning the situation. She is just as strong-maybe even stronger than Superman (research her powers). Seeing as how they are going to be making a Green Lantern Corps movie in I think 2019, I could see where we wouldn't get a peek at them until maybe the next Justice League movie in 2019. My friend from college works for Warner Bros. and has already seen the movie at work. I pleaded with him to tell me who Alfred was talking to after I saw this trailer-however, he doesn't want to ruin anything for me-and he said that there are going to be some surprises throughout the movie that we really don't see coming at all.

Here's my take... You have to figure that, as symbolic as Snyder is with his work, being a philosophy student, he's going to use EVERYTHING as symbology to tell the story, because that's what this is... All the movies... Chapters in a singular story... Prelude: Wonder Woman Chapter One: Man of Steel Chapter Two: Batman v Superman - *Dawn* of Justice Chapter Three: Interlude - Suicide Squad Chapter Four: Justice League The movies before now was tone down because it was philosophically twilight... The entire path to this is following Jor-El's words to Kal-El... "You will give them an ideal to strive towards. They will stumble behind you. They will fall. But one day, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them to accomplish wonders." And it was answered in this trailer by Bruce's words:... "Superman was a beacon to the world. He not only saved people. He made them see the best part of themselves." As the old saying goes, it is always darkest before the dawn... Man of Steel was the sunset... BvS was the dark of night... Justice League is the dawn... And this is essentially the origin stories of Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg... Never mind that everything in DC is a potential Elseworld story... So give the portrayals a break... Not everything is going to be exactly as you remember from the main timeline and other portrayals... Even the TV version of the Flash was unsure starting out against his first enemies... Some may think that that is going too deep, but if you research into every detail Snyder has put into and influenced in everything with these films, it would be a serious error to not go that deep... P.S. The one likely meeting with Alfred is the Manhunter, seeing as it's been rumored that Darkseid stole Kal-El's body in order to extract the Codex from his DNA... It may very well take a Last Son to help save a Last Son... Again,... symbology... May the road rise to meet you... Sláinte...

Interesting post, and interesting conclusion that J'onn J'onzz is the one to appear. That's my leading theory, though I likely arrived at that conclusion in a different way than you did. Allow me to layout my thought process on this. Superman dies, and Batman somehow captures footage of another Kryptonian, Kara Zor-El. She's in a suit more like the one out of Injustice 2, both to differentiate her from the Arrowverse version and to let Wonder Woman be the one who shows more skin. Bruce somehow contacts her and asks her to join the team and/or to find help. She rockets off into space and comes back just in time with Martian Manhunter. The reason I lean toward MM is because while he's powerful, he's not popular enough with the casual movie goers to overshadow Superman's return from the dead. Supergirl, while popular, has recently been seen in her own show, and I don't think even a new version of her would cause THAT much cheering among the crowd in the theaters. Green Lantern would steal too much thunder from Superman's return, and that's why I don't think it'll be a Lantern that shows up. If it is, it'll either be Abin Sur or Alan Scott. Anyway, Manhunter and Supergirl could make a difference, but I think Steppenwolf and the parademons will be made out to still be too much for the heroes, and that's when Superman shows up to save the day.

Really enjoy your JL reaction videos, guys. It's a lot of fun watching them with you. As for Easter eggs, Lex Luthor and Arkham Asylum were mentioned in the same sentence (possibly in French). And I totally believe that it's a recovered Superman at the end breaking through the ground/ building causing the ripple effects in the glass. The black suit Superman may first encounter the team as a "bad guy" but upon further recovery dons his classic suit and seeks them out.I think Bruce, being the excellent tactician he is, had a sensor of some kind buried next to Clark and is the only one not all that surprised to see Superman when he does appear, having secretly prepared just in case the vision of "Future Flash" came true somehow. Anyway, just my two cents. Keep having fun, guys, and I'll keep watching.

Quick explanation on WW not using her bracelet to deflect the bullet in the opening scene: she's INDOORS...& there are HOSTAGES. Alfred could be talking to anyone bros. It could even be Nightwing, who's patched things up with Bruce because of the invasion, and setting things up for his solo film. It could be Hal Jordan just newly recruited by the Green Lantern Corps unbeknownst to Steppenwolf who assumed that Earth had no Lanterns not realizing that the Guardians saw this coming! Finally, it could be Flash from the future jumping to the CORRECT time after screwing up in BvsS and arriving too soon for the shit-storm!

**ITS FLASH AT THE END** Its not superman. Its the flash and heres why. First, at 8:09-8:15, it literally sounds like the flash coming in through the time travel from the future. Superman doesn't do that. Secondly, what is the one thing that the flash is bad at doing? Being too early or being late through time travel. And what did alfred say, "Lets hope your not too late." So he was coming in through time travel from the future or maybe cuz batman sent him to give alfred a message. Another thing, people were saying look in the corner of the screen and you can see red and everyone assumes its superman because he wears a red cape. Well we all know that the flash wears a red full body armor suit. Another thing, in BvS, the flash came to visit bruce wayne from the future to tell him to find the meta humans. So bruce wayne knew nothing about the others/meta humans until the flash came to visit him. So when alfred said, "He said you'll come." My guess is that bruce told alfred about flash and that he would come from the future to help him fight against SteppenWolf. I could be wrong but those are just my thoughts about and its just my opinion. If you think its superman or green lantern, thats fine. I personally think that Zack Snyder is trying to trick us into assuming its Superman. Me? I'm saying its the flash.

I just subscribed because you gentlemen did a great job breaking down the trailer and noticing the big "No lanterns" easter egg b/c a lot of people keep missing that b/c they talk over that part. Also did you guys notice where Bruce is looking at the hologram & the camera pans down & did you notice thin, lady like legs? That could be a hologram of Supergirl. Superman legs are strong, big, muscular and the legs in the hologram are thin and lady like, so I think there is a strong possibly that is a Supergirl hologram, which also confirms the theory of the second pod from Man of Steel & that Supergirl is in the DCEU. It could also be Supergirl that Alfred is talking to at the end of the trailer. If that is the case then Zack Snyder would get infinite nerd credit/street credit.

In my opinion supergirl will definatly be part of the DCEU. the question is when and in which movie, could be Justice League or probably a later one. She did arrive on earth before Clark in the ship that was found in the arctic in the Man of Steel movie. There was an issued "prequel" comic for Man of Steel that explained why the alien ship was on earth and Kara was onboard. Off course WB could just ignore that part, dont think to many people read that issue since I rarely hear it meantioned when the recent Superman movies are discussed. When you watch Man of Steel, when he enters the kryptonian ship, you can also clearly see that some of the pods are empty.

Food for thought: Bruce is looking at a hologram of Supergirl, meaning Kara could def be the one Alfred is talking to (maybe Bats pulls some Bats brilliance and finds a way to contact her and she finds Alfie and is the JL's pinch hitter) but then why does Steppenwolf/Darkseid say "Kryptonian" instead of "Kryptonians"? Alfred was talking to Superman. Superman is this most powerful super hero in the D.C. Universe (when he gets mad enough....unstoppable). Very good point regarding the Superman setting off the "beacon"....very good point indeed! Good show, nice correlation! There is no Justice League without Superman....case closed. Present day, SW "boom tubes" the Themyscira, takes MB, leaves goes to Atlantis, takes MB. Cyborg has the last MB, my theory...."Cyborg "boom tubes" the JL to Apocalipse to defeat SW before he can get to Earth (or rather open a portal to Apocalipse...red sky). I hope they go with John Stuart as the first Lantern they showcase. Where do you thing they were when they had all the "white space behind them"? I think Cyborg took the league to "Star Labs". I think Aquaman was swimming to the "Kings" armor, his armor as heir to the thrown of Atlantis. After previous King of Atlantis past, the armor (...and the King of Atlantis "Trident") has sat their waiting for the right heir to take possession of it. The Big question: Superman is essentially immortal, being in the vicinity of a "yellow" sun. All it takes for even a mortal wound to him, is to stay by the light of a yellow sun and he will regenerate (current reference Batman v Superman). So, how do they bring Superman back if he is buried????

Im kinda thinking its Martian Manhunter cus he also has the red cape. Superman will probably return in the black suit like like in death of Superman. Flash when he came back in time to Bruce said he got the time wrong , what if he meant they should trust Martian Manhunter. We dont know if there are human green lanterns yet in the world or if Abin sur has yet to land on Earth and pass on his ring to Hal Jordan and start the flow of human lanterns.

If you guys have missed any easter eggs. Did you spot the green device beneath the ship of Batman. What was it? Was it Green Lantern's apparatus for something important. And look into Alfred's specs, something green in the background. This video has been dissected for easter eggs. Bruce Wayne staring at a supposedly hologram of Supergirl; the markings on a leg, definitely not Kal El. Superman's cousin Jor El ship was discovered in MOS movie, so she's been hiding😦but, why? And you're right in saying it's the time for superheroes of the universe to appear and resist. I have this inkling feeling it's Green Lantern. The movie trailer is just awesome and words can't describe. I can't wait to experience it on IMAX. Aquaman is a other hero with humour, boldness and bravado, which makes it so cool. These characters, Cyborg, Aquaman and Flash are the funnier meta-humans. When BvS movie came out, it was more dramatic and we didn't see these characters appear, only briefly, so this has organically funny super heroes with Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman and not forgetting Green Lantern, his deportment is more of a humourus side to it.

Alfred specifically says, "He said you'd come." I'm guessing "he" is Bruce. Now, if it is Superman, then I'm guessing this is long after Bruce figures out that Clark needs to regenerate in sun rays from space. Clark disappears to his retreat and needs to soul-search for a while; Darkseid's ship does not enter our system until after this takes place. Bruce, knowing that Clark is 100% "boy scout," tells Alfred that Clark will come back when the shit hits the fan. All the members probably show up one-by-one, and RSVP with Alfred, and they're playing with us because they know we're going to pull our hair out trying to figure out who it is, like it's just one person!

I think it's Superman. Early in the trailer the newspaper says WORLD WITHOUT HOPE because Supes is supposedly dead. Notice how Alfred emphasizes, pauses on the word HOPE.

I think at the ending of the trailer it could be shazam or green lantern or Martian Manhunter. There is no way superman could be there. Everyone thinks its one of the lanterns or Clark. what if he's telling a villain I hope you're not too late to stop their plan? The heavy footsteps to me can't make it a hero.... I dunno... I just think it being Superman is too obvious. None of them are that noisy they shake the floor when they walk.
