The risk with changing the Dragon is 1) you piss off the orignal fans with changing the dragon and 2) you risk getting no new fans because the new dragon design sucks Makes no sense to change Toothless And the score is iconic, that score already got me in the theatre

Nice to read common sense at last! People forget that not everyone likes animation, but John Powell's score alone has got me there opening night. This needs to be experienced in the cinemas in true sound! Also, people forget that Epic Universe opens next year, so this film makes total sense with the Isle of Berk opening within Epic Universe.

Fr, it’s about the acting and bringing the characters to life. The original director of the movie directed this, he made all the choices. People arguing over what’s “canon” just bc it was part of a childhood film is crazy. If they can act, then there shouldn’t be an issue. It’s a big deal for them, why not be proud of them for getting the roles in a crazy popular movie like this? Especially since these are kids, the comments and stuff people say is what dissuade young actors out of their dream careers

I so agree with you, Am sick and tired of the complaints. And if the movie was different they would B#&@h it's a different movie why does it have that name. Complainers don't complain because they have an actual point, they just like to complain. So if they think They can do so much better shit up the complaints, get the money and show people what they can do. If that's not within their abilities then stop the b#&@hing. Totally agree with you. And to be honest I am sick and tired of all this cannon crap! The Directors and writer's who create a film have the rights to what they write, and make. And if they want to change it, add to it, expand it, what ever, They have the right to do so. All this oh it is cannon. You know what a connon is, it's a artillery weapon, and a name of a camera company... And that's it. Get off this oh this was in a film so that is what it is. It's called continuity, and how many actual movies and shows actually stick to it. And you are right on the actors careers as well. They give their all after being selected by the Directors to perform and show what they can do. And idiots see a one minute clip, or go into a movie already mind set to bash it, and the performer's and post their single minded opinions to damage these actor's reputation, and performance. And then wonder why there are so few new comers into the industry, or why they don't see certain performers they liked in another performance. Well what do you expect when you damage their career's in something you were biased, and prejudiced about and ruined their chances in anything else
