The way the flash lit up was tough. I’m sure the story will be good but gameplay looks like it’s gonna be mid. With repetitive Waves and waves of enemies type stuff leading up to boss fights. Just hope the campaign is pretty lengthy 🤷🏾‍♂️ it’s rocksteady so I have some faith in this…

@@jeriah4k218 I’ve seen the same shit in different locations. This is the second gameplay trailer I’ve seen. It’s all been the same thing . Like sunset Blvd mixed with crack down. Definitely a departure, even from Gotham knights in style. but Like I said, I have some faith. Hoping it’s not too redundant. Buying for the story and Kevin Conroy. Awful is a very strong word. It looks decent but could get repetitive. But we still dont know a lot of things and the game doesnt drop for a while so theres time. Probably gonna be better than Avengers

Gunplay has no weight or impact to it, the sound effects are weak, gear score and looter systems are beyond played out and do nothing to make the game feel like a chore, all of the characters feel the same for the most part. At least Avengers managed to make each character feel somewhat unique.

@@Meowtro The game isnt even that near to release. Theres a huge difference between watching and actually playing. You dont know what impact the gunplay has, you dont know what the gear system will be like, you dont know what the characters will be like. From what weve seen the characters have different abilities and travel methods. Theres a variety of weapons that will have different effects, sounds and style. The entire gear system hasnt even been explained yet. It has a big open world, the story looks good and its a fun shooter. They are still working on the game. Audio, visuals, impact etc can all be improved

You can make good superhero games without all the gear and psuedo RPG systems and fluff; see Spider-Man on PS4. The mega corportation doesn't need you to white knight for it.

You dont know the gear will be bad, thats your assumption. The gear in Gotham Knights worked fine. There was no feeling of having to grind. You got stuff that was higher levelled from just playing normally. If you dont like it dont play it. Simple as that.

I don't know what I was expecting when it was revealed a Suicide Squad game was in development, but given that it was from Rocksteady, I (foolishly) thought it would be in the same vein as the Arkham series. Seeing that it's gone the direction of Avengers and Gotham Knights has completely neutered my hype for the game. Oh well, $70 saved.
