I’ve been a fan of Kompany for years and learning something new about him made me love him even more. One of my favorite parts was learning thats actually stood in a classroom and taught a bunch of people. Around the 30min mark you guys were talking about touring stories and stuff related to that, i love hearing crazy tour stories and advice related to that. Anything related to sound design from kompany is also very much enjoyed by me! 32:08 was some great advice as well, about mixdowns and tackling your weak spots first in mixdowns. Was nice just hearing how kompany approaches and thinks about mixdowns and production.

27:55 that's exactly what I am trying to do is make money without relying on tours. I'm needing more assistance on learning how to market my music and get it to the right crowd. Nonetheless this whole interview was very amazing and authentic. I also like around 53:00 is such a valid point, I strive to meet people face to face because natural connections goes a very long way. I don't like the fact these days we are so plugged into our phones.

56.22 - I produce my tunes with Djing live in mind- picture making a song from the ground up - producing the beat, writing your lyrics, recording and mixing and then having to strip it back to just a beat and perform the vocals live - listing to the tune over and over and finding it's a real struggle to give it that energy..to me it feels backwards.
