Turning our kitchen entryway into a custom pantry adding storage and organization galore! We used the Grimo IKEA doors and hinges to make a wall storage unit look HIGH END and built in! See below for Supply and Cut list so you can make one too!

Safety glasses/gloves/gear
Tape Measure
Pencil
Miter Saw (or have hardware store cut down wood for you)
Drill
Wood Glue
1 1/4" brad nails
1" wood screws
1 1/4" pocket hole screws
Paint and paint supplies
Spakle
1x8 and 1x4 (we used MDF)
Cut list:
FRAME:
(2) 1"x8" @ 94" long - sides
(2) 1"x8" @ 38" long - top and bottom
(6) 1"x4" @ 38" long - 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom, and 2 back support braces
SHELVES: (we added 6 shelves, multiply these to your desired shelf needs)
1x4's @ 38" long - back shelf supports
1x4's @ 6 1/4" long - side shelf supports
1x8's @ 38" long - shelf

You and your husband did a fantastic job in making this cabinet. It doesn’t look like an add on, it looks like it was meant to be there. I love the long handles. My ex-husband was/is a carpenter by trade and he was always remodeling something and a perfectionist. He was handy to have around. I’m by myself and don’t have anyone to help me do things and I miss that. We’re still friends and he would probably help me with projects but I don’t know how much his wife would like it. Lol!

This would work great then! We only had 8” too. We couldn’t find anything that would work so that’s where the custom frame came in. You can make your own doors too. But ikeas are so pretty. I just went with premade for looks and ease. Price wasn’t bad either

We have used Ikea cabinets in small spaces, skinner ones that we could fit between the studs, we cut into the wall and pushed the cabinet into the spot. Turned out so nice and works well in a smaller bathroom
