Don't get emotionally attached to a person no matter who it is before you get married, make your heart and mind devoted to Allah alone, and everything else is second, so when something bad happens u don't brake. A large portion of your heart is full of iman and love for Allah, if your heart is attached to someone else you will be gone when they are gone.

I am in the same boat as yours. I have fell for a girl, we talk regularly. She said she will change, start wearing Hijab and everything. But she said she will do it for me, not for Allah (s.w.t). That is a very dangerous statement in my opinion. I am in such an indecision, its running havoc through my mind. Brothers are shepherds for their families, mentors for their wives (sisters). Their actions, behavior, character, efforts reflect in their wives. If parents are righteous then children try to look up to their parents and absorb their good character, good habits and their iman is growing by the will of Allah. So, brothers, we have to be example of righteousness for our wives and children. Then in sha allah our wives will become righteous and our children. Useful video thank you. The problem is what if no proposal has come for years and you make dua after dua and are losing hope that it will happen? Plenty of divorcees in this day and age they too are struggling to find a righteous spouse. Only Allah can help us.

My brothers and sisters. I have faced many challenges in life I lost father as a child and was not practicing. I became more attentive ltely it's a struggle but I'm doing good. I've faced health issues for some time. I just don't have the confidence mentally or otherwise to get married I'm not ready I'm just not. I get hit with Hadith over and over about the one who doesn't marry is not of me and I've completely lost my imaan. I'm content with life but seeing KZbin scholars imploring marriage now I'm trying to get married because I'm worried I'll be forbidden jannah otherwise I don't feel ready and I'm terrified about it but I don't know Islm has inspired me I've volunteered with the blind for 5 years and donated what I could in sadaqah all from Allah I'm nothing I'm nobody without deen I can't pray anymore my mind constantly on this marriage topic I've lost my Deen please help me l. I have so much good I can do but I've lost myself I'm losing my Deen

Start with doing just the bare minimum, pray just the farz salah as much as you can and then when you can handle it add on. And in your dua sincerely implore your rab for guidance for if you reach for Him He is here
