I will never understand why so many in the US act as if firearms aren't a major problem in the country. The comparison to basically any other developed country is absolutely wild. What we need is our elected officials to start passing some gun control and doing buyback programs (nearly every other country in the world has done this successfully if our politicians need examples to work from) so that the gun violence stops.
