It was really incredible and prophetic! I think he really helped politically educate many people in the (first) world. But when Trevor first said this, the majority still thought Trump was only a hypothetical threat to democracy and the daily show might have exaggerated a little... No one in their right mind is still saying that now!

And will vote for him, feeling enlightened, like we once did, electing our man to make Germany great again. Most democracy destroyers got elected at first place. We all will have to ride multiple severe crisis in the future. You'll see, how we run to elect small minds with big egos. Again. It takes small minds with big egos to present simple solutions. And people crave for easy solutions, when times get hard.

Interesting piece. During a trip to London 10 years ago, while touring the extremely popular Tower of London with its Crown Jewels, relics of Empire and very popular oft-told stories of despotic rulers, beheadings and incarcerations, I couldn’t help but wonder if this might be setting the “wrong example” to politically ambitious visiting overseas rulers of countries with few institutional guardrails.
