Totally agree...presidency is rarely perfect. It's hard to navigate the office and execute actions when facing complete opposition from a Repeblican led Senate who has publicly stated he would reject policies presented by President Obama. Mitch McConnell is deeply flawed and hateful being masked as a man. Every act McConnell strategically conducted against Obama should have landed him in prison...McConnell took this position because Barack Hussein Obama was a black man in the highest office of the world's superpower. Merrick Garland should be on the Supreme Court, denied a hearing because McConnell stated the 11 months Obama had left in office was too close to the election warranting the nomination be made by the next president in office. Amy Comey Bryant was granted a hearing within three weeks of the Ruth Bader Gingberg's death, less than two month before the 2020 election, an action led by McConnell. I'm betting on Karma to right McConnell's wrongs. It doesn't pay to be racist.

I, too, love President Obama. However, I'll always give major props to President Lyndon Johnson. What a leader! Many of the programs poor Americans and "colored" Americans benefit from now were put in place under Pres. Johnson's leadership. True, he was a man of his times (1940-70s), but he knew and felt the pains of the poor and racially disenfranchised and it made all the difference in the world! No matter what the historians say, some of us were there: Vietnam was not Pres. Johnson's war. It started long before he entered national politics, look it up. Pres. 🤕Cognitive Dissonance 🤤Confirmation Bias The cognitive dissonance of watching anything challengingly honest, after building your entire identity around certain opposing ideas, is just too uncomfortable for many Americans now i guess. Looking away from that disconcerting challenge to only watch Fox News, they have all their prior beliefs shored up, they believe it without question because it just feels better, thats the confirmation bias. In an ideal free modern society, people would choose their conclusions (& votes) based on objective facts & open comparison… not political & cultural tribalism. Republicans need the majority of their constituents to vote against their own best interests, to benefit their true backers in industry. Calm Logic is the enemy in that scenario. Getting people whipped up in fear & tribalism is the point… to tie their entire personal identity to backing whatever the party says, so after a point it will be too overwhelming to question it, then flood them with “comfort” in biased sources like Fox so they never look anywhere else. Causing Confusion, fear & discomfort is the point, so they can blame it all on the “enemy” & claim they have the only cure… even tho they created the disease in the first place.
