The greatest that ever lived; He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet Kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He had no crime, yet they crucified Him. He had no need, yet He forgave them as they mocked. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His name is Jesus Christ and He is the Saviour of the world.

@Paula Wallace men are the persecutors of this world. Jesus Christ was never an oppressor. Rather he was crucified for his many miracles and the religious leaders of Israel feared a paradigm shift. Torah and Tanakh are prophecies of the messiah. We know who the messiah is, he is Yeshua. Jesus Christ of Nazareth who’s blood was shed as the final atonement for the sin of the entire world. I was an atheist 5 years ago, until I had an encounter with God the father. He sent me to Sheol, there I was tortured and mutilated by five demons. It felt like I was there forever, when there was nothing left of my body it came back together and they tortured me all over again. It wasn’t until I screamed the name of Jesus Christ and begged to be saved from this horrible place that these demons literally jumped away from me and Jesus literally pulled me out of that awful place. I never saw the world the same way since.

Well he did get to go home before Jesus returns. Rest in paradise Ravi. Edit: In light of the finished investigation into Ravi's misconduct it puts into serious question Ravi's genuineness. While we are all sinners, he appeared to have no remorse for his consistent sinful behavior and went to great lengths to manipulate those around him. Now my prayers are with all those who have been victimized because of his conduct. I pray that God gives you peace, closure, and the strength to move forward.

@Gustave Try reading John again. Then do it one more time after that.
@k1ngfalcongaming783
@k1ngfalcongaming783 4 жыл бұрын
@Gustave My friend: It's not only in John. Allow me to explain: John is clear right from the beginning of his gospel that Jesus is God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 [a]He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not [b]comprehend it." John 1:1-5 These cannot be true of Jesus if he is not God. Jesus was with God IN THE BEGINNING. What does Genesis say? "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;" Genesis 1:26. Jesus was with God in the beginning and he was God. God made us in his and Jesus" likeness because the two are one. You are correct that Jesus himself often separates himself from God. Why is this? Jesus came to show us humans what the perfect human life looks like and what we are supposed to measure up to. Even though he was God he had to humble himself for our sake so he could show us how we are to act. "Have this attitude [e]in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be [f]grasped, 7 but [g]emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death [h]on a cross." Philippians 2:5-8 Jesus also makes 7 I AM statements in the gospel of John. 7 is God's number and obviously Jesus new full well using I AM was referring back to when God revealed himself to Moses. Christians have believed Jesus to be God from the beginning of Christianity. It is not paganism. It is biblical and that is why the vast majority of denominations that claim to be Christian believe in the Trinity.

Mad Dog Avraham Words of Christ to you .. “And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form. You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life .. Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

I miss him dearly and wished I could at least maybe be blessed enough to hear him speak live, or that I would find the courage to write him and say ty! I waited too long, missed my chance to act. Parker Parker - I agree with you. I wanted to add that the word ‘light’ was a fascinating choice for the writers to use. Truly Devine. What is light? Who / why was it created. The chances that light happened by accident-inconceivable. All of the discoverable ‘laws’ of physics needed to be set in motion for light to be possible. The flow of electrical current helped me understand that ‘I’ / we are nothing... The distance between the electron and the nucleus is so massive (like a marble on the 50 yard line and outer stadium lights will begin the electron cloud). So what is this desk, the car, this earth? There’s more of nothing than of something. What holds us together? Also, what is the identifier i.e. IP address (the soul). It makes you, you and me, me. Powered by a spirit (Greek used pneuma). Truly fascinating.

Upon dismissal, most students simply stayed in their seats wanting more! His lectures were just SO, SO intriguing! Dr. Ram Joshi was like the Pied Piper of teaching. He was always followed by a pack of young people around campus. Great speaker and truly cared for young kids.

@Trevo Studen The Gospel of Jesus Christ. What is the Gospel? Its that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, and that He rose again on the 3rd day according to the scriptures. (1 Cor 15:1-4) The Bible is the only book and religion in the world that actually offers hard core, undeniable evidence and facts that its REAL, through the OT prophets and the things and event that have already happened surrounding Israle, Jesus and the Church 2000 years ago, even modern Israel's return as a nation in 1948. All these thing were predicted in specific details centuries before any of it came to pass in the OT. We know these things happened because secular historians agree they happened, and we know they were written beforehand because we have thousands of copies of the OT that predate Christ and the key events by multiple centuries.

@Paula Wallace Jesus said He is God. “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” John 8:56-58 Now notice that Jesus called Himself, “I am.” This is the same thing that God called Himself in Exodus 3:6 and 14. The Jews understood exactly what Jesus did. Jesus was declaring that He was the God they worshipped - the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And they picked up stones to kill Him (John 8:59) because he had declared that He was God. (www.neverthirsty.org/bible-qa/qa-archives/question/did-jesus-ever-say-that-he-was-the-son-of-god/) “I and the Father are one.” The Jews picked up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, “I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?” The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.” (NASB) John 10:30-33 Isaiah 44:6. Revelation 1:17. His first line of evidence is to show that the Old Testament claims for God to be The First and The Last. Since scripture claims this is a title for God and Jesus “says” he is the First and the Last then, this proves Jesus is God."

Gabriel Bermudez When I read the ending of 1 Corinthians 13, “And now abides faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love,” I learned that in performing intercessory prayer for others, that I build upon these three. My FAITH in His eternal Word, knowing that His desire is that we all come to repentance. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.“ My HOPE is for all of us to realize how precious each of us are to the Most High, and to LOVE the Lord our God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength, and to LOVE our neighbors as we love ourselves. 1 John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Pray that the desire to seek out God will grow in every heart, and that this desire will culminate in developing a personal relationship with Jesus. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us to us... Matthew 5:43-48 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Even though Ravi potentially could have lived longer, that isn't to say God has good reason to take him now. Hey guys. I took some notes as I listened. Here is what I got from this wonderful conversation. Ravi: The thorn in the side of the theistic framework is the problem of evil. Pain. Suffering. Virtue in distress, vice in triumph has made atheists of mankind. "How could an all good, all knowing God allow suffering, could God really have an adequate reason for the suffering of man?" One way to face this question is: Does evil even exist? -yes. If evil exists, there must be a moral law. If there is a moral law there must be a moral law giver. Without God, what basis does morality have? (the reason an absolute moral law requires a moral law giver is because every time the question of morality is raised it is assumed that human beings have intrinsic value which can't be posed in a universe that is nothing more than meaningless matter interacting through time and space.) The problem of evil relies on a definition of evil that can only be given in a universe with a God. There is also the God of the philosophers - the unmoved mover. The absolutely first cause. Nothing happens without a cause but the universe can not be infinite, therefore there must be a very first cause, an unmoved mover. -------- Ravi: Origin, morality, meaning, destiny. You can't have a worldview that doesn’t answer these four questions. -------- Ben: This is a richly debated issue in theistic circles Is there a difference between what is moral and what is sinful? Ravi: What has happened in the west is we have tried to keep the morality without the belief there is a moral law giver. We have planted our feet firmly in mid-air. Morality is good for civil co-existence. But morality can't keep us safe from destruction unless we see people as intrinsically valuable, which requires God. -------- Ben: There is a break in right wing political views between the conservative view which values our rights and our duties highly in every political idea, while the libertarian view says let's just allow everybody to do what they will while preserving a few fundamental laws which we all agree on. The more conservative view is criticized for imposing theocracy upon the masses while the libertarian view is criticized for giving people rights without giving them duties. Ravi: The question is not right vs left, but up vs down. It is all about and all rests upon whether or not we collectively have a transcendent frame of value to which we are tied. Also - Egalitarianism and elitism Egalitarianism: all people are equally valuable Elitism: some ideas are better than others Our mistake in naturalistic western society is that we have made ideas equal and people elite. We think that the elite people at the top can tell us what ideas to follow. We should be valuing every person as created equal but only giving ideas status if they deserve it. --------- Ben: Can I be good without believing in God? Is there a good atheist? Ravi: Some atheists put us Christians to shame in their moral goodness. But the statement "I'm an atheist and a good person" is a circular impossibility. What do you mean by "good?" In some places of the world you love your neighbor, in other places you eat them. Both cultures think they are doing what is good. If I think that goodness is based on what I personally think it is, I have to give that prerogative to every other person (think Hitler). The Indians thought they were being good for millennia when they forced a married woman to throw herself onto the fire of her husband's burning body after he died. To say "I am good" is a highly risky statement if you do not believe in absolutes. To do so is a relativistic statement, which is self-defeating. (If all truth is relative, is that an absolutely true thing to say or is it also relative)? We talk a lot about rights, but we have not defined what is right. ----------- Ben: Let's talk about rights then. How can we value peoples' rights without making a theocracy? (political forced religion) Ravi: Theocracy is wrong. It is not in alignment with Gods nature - God gave us the ability to believe or disbelieve, we need to value that freedom. But God didn't dismiss the entailments of what each of those options would mean. But today it is those in opposition to Judeo-Christian values who are trying to oppose their theocracy. Theocracy to an idea is the quickest way to destroy a belief in that idea. ------- Ben: What to say to the secular humanist who claims that we are a pre-determined ball of meat floating through space and even our thoughts are just firing neurons? Ravi: I would ask them if that statement was determined or if they actually think that themselves. It’s a back door way to avoid responsibility. Why would we even have court systems if not for the fundamental belief in free will (this is like Peterson's case for free will based on its societal utility). The pre-determined worldview says that there must not be morality then as morality is subject to free will. --------- Ben: What do you think about the area where we disagree - Jesus? Ravi: When the messiah comes we will just have to ask him "Have you been here before?" haha Jesus is the fulfillment of the law that you believe in. He completes it. I believe in Jesus because of my personal relationship with Him. I hunger for not just the proposition but also the completion and I see in Christ the completion of the whole Judeo-Christian thing we both love. We both have this in common - both of our highest goal is this. We both want communion with God.

@Mad Dog Avraham Hey, I hope it doesn't seem like I'm butting in. I just wanted to suggest a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5_Rm3qBrLuHoMk And since links can be kinda iffy, the name of the video is "The 3 reasons why Jews don't believe in Jesus & Israel Evangelism report (by Eiton Bar)". Now, I know by the title it sounds like I'm trying to tell you why you yourself don't believe Jesus is the Messiah, which would be pretty dumb of me. The KZbin channel (One For Israel) has many videos made for Jewish people, both in English and Hebrew. It's just that this video which I'm linking was the first I watched, and I couldn't pick one in particular which covered as wide a range of topics regarding arguments against Jesus. So, even though Eiton Bar is largely addressing (what I assume is) a Christian church, please watch with a relatively open mind. I'd start at around 6 minutes 50 seconds into the video, since before that he's just explaining what his group does. ... Anyways, if you don't want to check it out, let me know if you'd still like to have a conversation about this. A lot of Christians don't seem to or don't show it, but I truly believe there are those of us who want Israel to hear the gospel because we care about God's people. Since we have met God through His Son, and come to love the same Father you do, we want to share how we got there... maybe that's going too far already, but that's about the gist of it.

When a professional Christian interviews a professional Jew for one hour, the significance of Jesus Christ will not be accidentally skipped over. It was on purpose. Why? To promote unity. If it is skipped over enough the Christians will be inviting the Jews over for supper and to speak in the church. Ben Shapero lectured the big student assembly of Liberty University.

Ravi and John Lennox are two of my favorite apologists! Like Ravi, Lennox has also had some epic K.O.'s against academic giants. It's pretty cool that one of his professors was C. S. Lewis! It would be beyond amazing if he could get Professor Lennox on here!

I don't seen the important on King Jame only issue I think that people who focus on it a blind by who god is who his words original script was in Hebrew and Coinage Greek this was the original place of text of script yet because the fact that we start translation it in to English and other language it was able advance are own language by tried translation it to English and other languages. in this way God word gave us so much modern language when it translated.

Resurrection accounts in the gospels Matthew 28: 1-6 (80 AD) After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said Mark 16 (AD 66-70) 1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3 and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance to the tomb. 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’” 8 Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.[a] Luke 24:1-11 (AD 85-90) 1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words. 9 When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11 But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. John 20:1-(AD 90-110) 20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” 3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. 9 (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) 10 Then the disciples went back to where they were staying. Check the contradictions
