Blind Melon was one of the best bands ever. Shannon was the spirit of the band and they do a vigil every year in lafayette. Sometimes the other guys from the band show up, but there is always a good show and folks have a candlelight ceremony at the grave. Shannon's Mom is super cool and you can even meet Vernie! Oh my goodness!!! Just over a year ago, my son (who was 18 & 2 weeks out of high school at the time) left home in California and went to Indiana to do some volunteer work. Although we talk to him weekly, we have not seen him in person since then. He's been moved around Indiana to serve in different areas and cities several times, but is currently in the tiny town of Frankfort. He spent the 4th of July in Lafayette, and sent us photos of some of the same locations that appeared in this video, so this was AMAZING for us to see! I think what you're doing is very cool, and thanks for taking us on all your "zany journeys" with you! :)

That White dome is what they use to store Corn or other grains in. It expands with air pressure so when empty it can be stored. Cheaper than a Silo and less likely to effected by high winds
