Adam, I've been watching your channel for 8 years and this is the best episode EVER! I've been a fan of green day since 1994, Christie road has always been my favourite song of theirs, and kerplunk my fave album. Being from England I never thought I would witness where it actually was, that was so freaking cool 😎 I love the Philly captain also, man that was so cool! LOL that hurricane is nowhere near central Florida. It's so far out all I had was 20 minutes of hard rain and some wind. Been fine the rest of the day. Little wind. Nothing but a typical Florida day. Like 80% of Florida wasn't really impacted. Hell they closed all the schools and attractions. For what? Just One heavy rain and some winds for a short period. Florida is too panicky every time a tropical storm or hurricane is formed anywhere.

Moved to Nebraska after my Naval service…. I’m dying for one! I drove 9 1/2 hours to see my friend in Texas and found out they have it there. Better believe we ate there more than once.

I grew up not too far from Christie Road. Along these same tracks. Used to stare out of my window and watch these same trains go rolling by. Also, you skipped a spot you were really close to. The 7-11 in Pinole (from Jesus of Suburbia). It got a lot of attention last weekend when the band stopped by as promotion for their coffee. There's a new mural and a plaque.

My love of split pea soup began as a child while visiting the Andersen's in Solvang with my family!

I loved going to Andesen's pea soup when I was a kid. It was the last dinner my family and I would have before coming home from vacation. It's sad what happened to that place. Covid killed them. My wife and I stopped there in 2021. The soup was good but my wife's food was so bad she made them take it back to the kitchen. The place was dirty and in disrepair. It was dying a slow death. Places like that deserve better. I got their recipe book now I make their soup from time to time.
