I really appreciate you coming all the way from Florida to capture this moment. Never thought my favorite KZbinr would be covering the demise of Oakland sports. From the Raiders, then the Warriors, now the A's. Eff Fisher. Hell yah, Krazy George, he lives in my town in Santa Cruz, crazy seeing him in the grocery store, and around town. And as a huge Raiders fan, I’ve spent MANY Sundays in the coliseum. Is it old? Yes. Should it have been replaced? Absolutely. But, one things for sure, when the coliseum is full and the crowd is rocking, there’s no better vibe in sports. I’ll miss the coliseum. I’ll miss pro Oakland sports. This is truly disheartening! I live in the Sacramento area, and if Athletics fans want to organize a mass protest against Fischer at the Coliseum I will go. In a country so divided, let's unite in agreement about John Fischer. I would love it if we could put politics and other dividing issues aside and come together. I saw Crazy George back in 1981. I have seen a no hitter by Vida Blue, home runs by Reggie Jackson, Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire and many others. If anyone has the organizational skills to put a mass protest against John Fischer together, please do it. Oakland is a city of activism and protest, let's do more for the Athletics.

This is really tragic especially when you consider the passing of Billy Bean this year. This is why, as a NYer, the minute the Giants and Jets moved to NJ I became a Buffalo fan. I could be a Patriot fan just as easily, also from a neighboring state. The Giants played at Yankee Stadium and the Jet's played at Shea, designed with moving field level box seats for a football field setup. The Jets practiced near my house so I would go watch Joe and the Jets with WEEB. How many Vegas fans could there possibly be considering most people in Vegas are visitors? Time will tell. Look at the Montreal Expos, formerly the Washington Senators now the Washington Nationals? The Colt 45's became the Astros and then had Astroturf that is disappearing faster than an ice cube in a summertime Vegas parking lot. First Tom Sawyer Island, now no more Oakland A's!!!!!

Yeah I remember the 1989 Loma Prieta quake. The world series was at Candlestick Park which no longer exists. I was living near LA at the time but I felt it. And of course the collapse of the Cypress fwy and all the other destruction around the area was all over the news. Actually the world series that year saved a bunch of lives because it kept many people off the collapsed freeway.

Thank you Adam, this whole thing has been heartbreaking as an A's fan. And speaking for the entire East Bay, FUCK THE GIANTS. 143

I kind of feel bad for Oakland they had a lot of iconic franchises that just left town. I understand why though Oakland is so bad it's the only place that in and out has left
