I finally got to go to the NASA museum a few months ago, it's a really cool place, it was extra cool for me to see the spaceship enterprise there (which is a replica not the real one, I later found out) because my grandpa actually worked on the shuttle. If he was still around it's one thing I would have wanted to talk to him about.

You were over the top with this one and the viewer questions were great too! I've been a space junkie since I worked on the LEM/Apollo program back in the 60's. I sure wish I could go there but health issues don't permit travel. But you're out there doing all of the cool stuff that I would have been doing in my earlier life. I start every morning with your vlog and you're my absolute favorite! Its nice starting every day with a smile!

Good morning, Adam! When my uncle arrived from Cuba he had a similar reaction the first time he entered an American grocery store. He actually started weeping. It was quite moving for all of us and from that moment, I have had an appreciation for living in the land of plenty. Communism sucks.

I helped with an add in to that shuttle program. It will buzz you in a particular place to show you have positioned shuttle correctly. shuttle lands with nose pointed to sky until touch down so you can't see where you are landing.

Sorry for the crappy weather the day of your visit. Whenever lightning strikes within 6 miles of the center it has to close the tram tour due to safety. You should try to make it back in October when the Apollo11 capsule will be at the center.

7:16 about those ash trays in the seats. That 747 was originally owned by American Airlines. NASA bought it used, and added the bits it to carry the Space Shuttle around. They probably just kept the original first class seats.

You probably would have gotten a kick out of that Fry's. They have a mock up of the space station inside, as well as other NASA themeing. If you're still in the area, another place you might want to check out is Maas Nursery in Seabrook. It's a very neat place with lots of strange and silly things to discover. We've been dozens of times, and every time we find something new. If you're feeling peckish, in Seabrook Neptunes has great subs and Tookies has great burgers. Enjoy the rest of you're time here!
