Good Morning, Adam! The only reason why you do not belong on Rodeo Drive is simply because you are not a superficial, pretentious snob who thinks you are better than everyone else. Your down-to-earth approach to life is fun and refreshing and I believe that is why you are one of the most popular vloggers on KZbin today. By the way, I wonder if the Griffith Observatory will be holding a special event for safe viewing of the total solar eclipse on August 21st? Los Angeles will experiencing 60% of the eclipse, however, I think all of the United States will see at least part of this spectacular event!

The Observatory is wonderful and has great hours too! The year we met Mr. Woo, 2015 (November), during our Disneyland trip, we stopped at the Griffith Observatory at sunset. It was beautiful, and the facility stayed open until around 9 pm! A great location to visit! Highly recommended!

Garan growing up in L.A. county, there were days where we couldn't do P.E. classes outside. The smog is much better now.

Garan I grew up in LA during the 70s, and there were times when you couldn't see the other side of the playground, just a wall of brown smog. I also remember how we would be prohibited from playing outside during school hours. Thinking back it's amazing we lived that way.

ive been to observatory many times and i never noticed the orbits on the floor! or notice the details of the pendulum, i would take a quick glance, never knew it was a clock lol...thats cool the movie was filmed there, didnt know that...so much you teach me in the places of LA ive always thought i knew

The pendulum was originally created by a scientist named Léon Foucault and it proved the Earth rotated, the rotation affected the swing and it shifted it at a constant. I thought those were glowing Twinkies in that one window.
