Plus exclusives that aren't first party like Bloodborne, Valkyrie Elysium, FF7 Remake, FF16 and many more. I dont know about you but Sony has the best games out there. Xbox has never made a game that rivals these games. The only high quality game they have is Forza but hopefully they'll start getting better at exclusives when Hellblade 2, Starfield and others come out. For now it's been 3 years since the Series X launched and they have no triple A exclusive games besides forza because Halo and redfall sucked so they don't count

It took me awhile to get my PS5, so I ended up playing Miles Morales on PS4 and Demon's Souls on PS3. It helped to take my mind of it, considering I was literally playing the PS5's "launch exclusives" without a PS5. Personally I prefer replaying my old games, not rebuying them at insane prices.

It's a fine line to walk with remakes and I'd argue there's still no real remake that replaces the original outright. There was like 50 of us there who had ordered one and then like 50 people who hadn't who were trying to buy them off people when they got them it was mad. You've got it at a great time there are so many good games out I've been binging alot of final fantasy 16, I highly recommend the free astrobot game if you're a fan of playstation games, only a couple hours long and is pretty much made to be an introduction to ps5 to show you all the cool stuff the control can do.
