In this video, my Silverado, aka Señor Rustbucket, gets Cherry Bombed! I'll show you how I installed the 2.5" diameter, 30" Cherry Bomb Glasspack without the use of a welder, and give you a nice sound sample. I just used connector pipes, and exhaust clamps.

I did this on my 89 f150 and I didn't tighten the clamps enough. The cherry bomb fell off when turning a corner and I ran over it

Matthew Singleton thanks man. I don't like the sound of the 8" ones. Too snappy sounding for my taste and too loud. The long 30" has a nice rumble to it that I love. This is the first glasspack I've ever put on a vehicle. I had a flowmaster on a 3rd gen Camaro that sounded sweet.

i got a 1988 nissan sentra ive been restoring for the last 6 months or so. new paint pulled the engine threw a new tranny in it all that good stuff rebuilt suspension. going to be getting a new muffler looking into somthing louder ofcrs im a teen i fit that stereotype. my truck has a flow master sounds amazing.

At first I was wary after watching this and your comment about the cherry bomb extreme but I just got one put on yesterday and it's not bad with the windows down and with the windows up it's fine not loud at all and actually more quiet than my old quiet dumped muffler since that one used to rattle my back window

Clamps have a chance of loosening over time, or allow exhaust leak, but is removable. Weld is a permanent seal. If done properly there will be no exhaust leak.

My father would say he'd spray water in his glass packs and let it sit over night..idk about multiple times for sure but he said it would do something to the material or fiberglass and it sounded louder If I remember right. Old ways I guess

i bought an 88 crown vic wagon and the whole rear exhaust was rusted out. for a quick fix, I installed the cheapest two mufflers (dual exhaust) i could get while i was waiting for the tail pipes and mufflers i ordered. i was really disappointed. i wanted it to sound like the general lee, instead it was really, really quiet.

yes anti-seize compound will cover many sins. LOL. use it any where you have heat, water. basically ANY where on the bottom side of the car.

It sounds deeper at idle but when u accelerate it actually sounds more quite but deeper quite maybe I'm wrong but I figured it would sound more aggressive but it also could be that it was idle & u only accelerated lightly not dissing the sound fyi & I already have a 3.5 custom exhaust my car sounds good I just wanted 2 c what a cherry bomb would do to an already custom exhaust & make it sound more aggressive but overall nice work.

That installation will leak. You must use a special exhaust paste in the connections that will get hard when heated.

Clamps are much better than welded....makes for easy instal and removal and less chance of leaks
