Hurley is the coach the Lakers need. Experienced and the best available out there. Lakers need to build a culture moving past Lebron. They can't afford to get a JJ and keep changing coaches every two/three years. The franchise has to have consistency over the years and start thinking life post Lebron. I hope it becomes reality. That would be a solid move.

AD and team didn't like Ham for different reasons and one would be that he didn't show enough passion and anger on the sidelines. Tough love in showing the team how to play the right way is exactly what this team needs. Ham didn't have the discipline and it translated on the court

Both Ham and players were taking shots at each other during post game interviews. They didn't repect him. It's good that a coach shows some fire. Players respect that.

This could well be a worthwhile gamble for the Lakers. It makes little sense for Hurley. You take over that hot mess of a team with 40 yo LeBron and his no offense son? Hurley should stay where he is. He's a college coach. He just coached UConn to two national championships. He's in charge there. If he goes to the Lakers, he has to kiss Lebron's ass. Lebron is already the NBA career points leader. Durant is the only active player in the Top 15 and is 12K+ points behind him.
