The Lakers should forget about the idea of winning an NBA title any time soon, not happening. Instead they should stop trying to cater to LeBron and start a major rebuild. Trade both LeBron and AD and just blow it up. The future is now!

Hurley is the coach the Lakers need. Experienced and the best available out there. Lakers need to build a culture moving past Lebron. They can't afford to get a JJ and keep changing coaches every two/three years. The franchise has to have consistency over the years and start thinking life post Lebron. I hope it becomes reality. That would be a solid move.

Hurley has a temper. He's a screamer and a yeller. You can do that to 18 and 19 year old kids, but that won't fly against grown men who are millionaires in the NBA. Hurley would have to change his style. Can he?

@philb.1502 As long as he tones it down and doesn't do it in a disrespectful manner. Bron even said he likes a tough coach that can tell him how it is, like Lue and Spolz. AD and team didn't like Ham for different reasons and one would be that he didn't show enough passion and anger on the sidelines. Tough love in showing the team how to play the right way is exactly what this team needs. Ham didn't have the discipline and it translated on the court

@Jayholmes518 It's still a risk for the Lakers. Hurley can coach, but I'm worried about his relationship with the players. The first time, he blows his top against a rotation guy, and the guy goes back at him. How will he handle it?
@Renee-u7w
@Renee-u7w 7 ай бұрын
@@philb.1502 Yeah I hear ya. As long as he doesn't lose the locker room like Ham did. If they'res respect on both sides they should be fine. This could well be a worthwhile gamble for the Lakers. It makes little sense for Hurley. You take over that hot mess of a team with 40 yo LeBron and his no offense son? Good luck firing or trading Bronny . You set Hurley up for failure. I guess if he wants 7 million for a one year or 2 job and goes back to Connecticut it might work.

If lakers hire this guy cool I get it do some different and risky .. but also understand that you wanna do this with a young team like they had when they Lonzo Hart Clarkson Ingram Randle Nance Kuzma Zubac young squad .. this current team is old and aging by the second .. getting him thinking he’s gonna be able to turn it around with Lebron AD plus let’s say even a Donovan Mitchell won’t be enough to host a 1st round playoff series .. do this if u know Lebrons era is ending sooner than later ..if you wanna draft Bronny in 2nd round or bring him in jus to please lebron and get another 2 1st round exits and make money then don’t even attempt to re start the culture movement cuz it ain’t it
